EDGE (www.edgescore.com) is a B2B fintech on a mission to expand credit access for consumers historically unserved and underserved by the reports and scores of traditional credit bureaus. We’re doing this with risk analytics based on complementary alternative data that reveals a more complete financial picture.

Founded in 2021, Edge is part of a larger family of fintech brands that sits underneath our parent company, NinjaHoldings (www.ninjaholding.com). NinjaHoldings’ brands also include CreditNinja, a nationwide online consumer lending business established in 2017, and NinjaCard, a neobanking platform focused on consumers in the emerging credit space.

The EDGE business is at an inflection point where we’ve proven our platform’s value with early adopters and we’re ready to go full-throttle into our target markets. Elevating every aspect of our marketing efforts is a critical element in this planned ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and project plans
  • Lead and manage Platform Engineering projects from inception to completion, driving a balance of high quality and timely delivery
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of project goals and deadlines
  • Conduct regular project status updates, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in our internal processes
  • Support the development of automated tools and processes to enhance platform performance and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in security, scalability, and reliability

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in a technical environment
  • Technical background with a strong understanding of Platform Engineering, cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Proactive, Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement

Additional Pluses, but Not Requirements:

  • Experience with Ruby, Python, SQL, Terraform, GitHub Actions and/or Kubeflow
  • Experience with fintech platforms and technologies
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working within SOC2 / PCI compliance requirements
  • Excellent technical understanding of modern web application development practices
  • Passion for security, observability, and failover
