We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a passionate and strategic Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst to support our AI for Security portfolio, including ML-powered threat detection, Generative AI applications, model governance, and more. In this role, you will partner directly with Product, Sales, and cross-functional leaders to inform roadmap decisions, guide go-to-market strategy, and help CrowdStrike win in a rapidly evolving competitive landscape focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

You will develop a deep, nuanced understanding of competitors’ AI/ML models, data strategies, technical capabilities, market positioning, and tactics, as well as the real reasons CrowdStrike wins or loses in the field. This work will scale globally and require tight partnership with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, and other teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency in AI/ML for cybersecurity, practical insight into real-world security product development, and the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable guidance. This is a remote, individual-contributor role with significant visibility and impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Synthesize and formulate guidance from a variety of information levels and sources (technical, business, field, external) and regularly present key takeaways to the field and to senior leadership

  • Provide a field-actionable, in-depth and ever-evolving understanding and analysis of the AI for Security market relative to CrowdStrike solutions and capabilities

  • Provide tailored deal support (competitive surgeries & guidance), and develop a deep rapport with the field

  • Work closely with the rest of the Competitive Intelligence team at CrowdStrike, as well as other key stakeholders (including the office of the CTO, sales, product, and marketing teams), functioning as a primary liaison for AI for Security competition which includes development of competitive support material and competitive readiness plans.

  • Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable CrowdStrike to win in the market.

  • Be a self-starter with an ownership mentality. You will work autonomously in the development of project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking/updates of the AI for Security competitive landscape.

  • Conduct win/loss analysis, using both quantitative and qualitative data source to determine why CrowdStrike wins and loses vs the competition

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity market with heavy emphasis on the application of AI/Machine Learning, including threat intelligence, behavioral analysis, and automated response.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with data science platforms, machine learning toolkits (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and data pipeline architectures.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (Ideal candidates will have experience in at least TWO of the following): sales engineer/pre-sales, competitive intelligence, solution architect, product management, technical marketing, and product marketing

  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts related to AI/ML into field actionable guidance and executive summaries.

  • Superior communication skills including experience presenting to senior & executive level management.

  • Excellent people and project management skills to manage projects and interact/build rapport with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties

Bonus Points:

  • Relevant certifications in AI/ML, Data Science, or specialized cybersecurity fields.

  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI in a security context.

  • Direct experience with customers (as a customer, or in a customer support or field role) selling or supporting AI-powered security products.
