Own and optimize the content engine end-to-end: website ownership, editorial calendar, SME orchestration, asset production and repurposing, SEO/AEO/GEO optimization, conversion and A/B testing, team management, and reporting content contribution to pipeline.
At some point in any digital investigation, an analyst needs to step beyond the perimeter and engage threats at the source. Authentic8 Silo places any type of digital analyst in region-specific, multi-application workspaces, securely and anonymously, anywhere across the globe. Target content can be captured, analyzed, and transformed in order to derive intelligence and support investigation requirements. All delivered in a cloud-native, multi-tenant platform.
Compliance officers, mission managers, and administrators have their own specific audit and oversight requirements; to meet these needs, Silo also ensures compliance and appropriate use through class-leading policy enforcement and audit logging.
Silo transforms how more than 750 of the world's most sophisticated organizations, from domestic and foreign government agencies to commercial entities across all sectors conduct their digital investigations.
We're looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to own Authentic8's content engine end-to-end. That means the website, the editorial calendar, the orchestration of everything we publish, the way it gets optimized, and the way it moves ICPs from unaware to educated to converted.
Our users and buyers are specialists: threat intel analysts, SOC operators, OSINT investigators, financial crime teams, law enforcement. Their world runs on tradecraft and know-how. That expertise comes from our Product Marketing Manager, internal subject matter experts, customers, and external voices. You won't be writing the original thought leadership. You'll orchestrate it: brief the experts, edit their drafts, package their work, ship it, and turn each piece into a family of assets that reach every ICP across every channel we play in.
You'll report to the Head of Marketing, manage a Marketing Specialist, and partner with our Product Marketing Manager and other internal and external subject matter experts who fuel the content pipeline. You're a fit if you treat AI as a force multiplier (not a novelty), obsess over performance metrics, love a good A/B test, and get satisfaction from watching a bounce rate drop or a page climb the SERP.
What You'll Own:
- Serve as the primary owner of authentic8.com. You're the one accountable for what's on it, how it performs, and how fast we can change it
- Partner with internal operations and external web developers to plan, prioritize, and ship updates
- Manage the content roadmap across the homepage, product pages, use case pages, resource hub, and landing pages
- Keep the site fast, clean, and aligned to current positioning as messaging and products evolve
- Fix what's broken (links, forms, tracking, SEO issues) and prevent regressions
- Own the content marketing roadmap and editorial calendar, aligned to ICP (segment + vertical + use case) and full-funnel buyer journey (awareness to consideration to conversion to retention and upsell)
- Identify content gaps and pitch new ideas grounded in ICP needs, competitive dynamics, and search demand
- Prioritize what gets built next based on pipeline impact, not opinions
- Brief internal SMEs (Product, CTO, Sales, CS) and external voices (customers, partners, industry experts). Get them what they need to contribute, and manage the intake of their drafts
- Edit, refine, and package SME-driven content into publishable assets: blog posts, videos, case studies, solution briefs, whitepapers, webinars, newsletters, and nurture emails
- Partner with external designers, video producers, and editors to scale output without dropping quality
- Make sure every asset connects to something else: no orphan content, no siloed asset. Every piece has a place in a buyer journey
- Manage a Marketing Specialist who runs our organic social program. Set clear priorities, coach on craft, and unblock them
- Make sure organic social pulls from the same content strategy and asset library, so social becomes another distribution channel for the engine (not a side project)
- Build the content function as a repeatable, high-output engine, not a hero-driven scramble
- Bring the team along on AI workflows so productivity compounds
- SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO across the website, blog, and long-form assets
- Keyword research covering paid and organic terms for our products and competitors
- Heading structure, semantic keyword density, meta descriptions, and schema
- FAQ and content structure that makes our pages LLM-scrapable and citable in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity answers
- Third-party content placement to build authority signals
- Break long-form content (whitepapers, webinars, podcasts) into blog series, LinkedIn carousels, email sequences, short-form video, and sales enablement snippets
- Use AI workflows to repurpose at scale without losing quality or voice
- Daisy-chain smaller assets to drive deeper engagement and gated conversions
- Landing page optimization: tight CTA alignment, low cognitive load, clear pain/solution, social proof, single action
- CTA and offer testing by funnel stage (TOFU awareness, MOFU consideration, BOFU decision)
- A/B testing variants of pages, headlines, offers, and creative
- Improve scroll depth, dwell time, CTR, and bounce rate on key pages
- Track content contribution to MQLs, opportunities, and revenue, not just traffic
- Distinguish bot/engine traffic from human intent
- Feed insights back into the content roadmap so we double down on what converts

What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of B2B content marketing experience, with meaningful time in a fast-paced startup or scale-up
- Experience managing and developing direct reports
- Direct experience owning a company website end-to-end, working with internal operations and external developers
- Proven ability to build and run an editorial calendar aligned to ICPs, use cases, and the full buyer journey
- Track record of orchestrating SME-driven content: briefing internal and external experts, editing their drafts, and packaging their expertise into ICP-facing assets
- Deep SEO fluency: technical, on-page, keyword strategy, and content architecture
- Working knowledge of AEO and GEO. You've already been experimenting with how to show up in AI answers
- Hands-on with AI tools for content repurposing, editing, and personalization at scale. You treat AI as an extension of your capabilities, not a threat to your craft
- Proven track record of measurable content wins: organic traffic lift, ranking improvements, conversion rate gains, or pipeline contribution
- Exceptional editing and copywriting chops. You can turn a rough SME draft into a publishable asset, rework a headline, sharpen a CTA, or restructure a landing page without needing hand-holding.
- Strong project management. You can juggle a dozen assets across a dozen channels without dropping the ball.
- Able to bring your best practices to the table and enhance current processes. Confident to present those ideas to key stakeholders
- Comfortable with the tools listed and confident pulling your own reports:Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Claude Code, SEMrush, Asana, Zoom, Google Workspace Suite, Frontify content management system
What success looks like in year 1:
- You've taken clean ownership of the website and improved its performance on the metrics that matter (organic traffic, ranking, conversion, page speed)
- Editorial calendar is running on rhythm, mapped to ICP and funnel stage, and every planned asset ships on time
- SME-to-published pipeline is smooth. Experts contribute, drafts land, assets ship, and no one is waiting on you.
- Your direct report is growing. Their output and range are visibly stronger than at the start of the year.
- Every high-priority page and asset is optimized for search, AEO, and conversion
- Content library is auditable, decay is managed, and we know what's working
- Repurposing engine is running: each major asset produces at least 5-8 derivative pieces
- Measurable lift in organic traffic, ranking for target keywords, and content-attributed pipeline
- We're consistently cited in AI answer engines for our ICP's most important questions
Compensation:
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonus eligibility and Equity
Individual pay will be determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
