Sr. Designer, Brand & Marketing

What you'll do: 

We’re currently seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join our Design team and lead the development of high-impact brand experiences across a variety of channels. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, Communications, and cross-functional teams to create visually compelling work that builds awareness, drives engagement, and strengthens the NinjaTrader brand. 

In this role you will: 

• Design high-quality visuals that bring our brand to life across marketing, communications, and internal initiatives 
• Develop creative assets for campaigns including digital ads, social media, landing pages, emails, presentations, and event materials 
• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual identity 
• Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders to concept and execute design solutions that support business goals 
• Create scalable systems of brand assets, templates, and design toolkits for use across the organization 
• Support internal communications and employer brand efforts with engaging visuals 
• Contribute to creative strategy and brainstorming sessions 
• Present and articulate design rationale to stakeholders at various levels of the business 
• Advocate for best practices in visual storytelling, typography, color, and layout 

What you'll need: 

• 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design with a strong digital portfolio 
• A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in brand execution across diverse formats and channels 
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Figma 
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy 
• Experience maintaining and evolving a brand identity across a growing organization 
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

Bonus Points for: 

• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or a high-growth startup environment 
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Contentful 
• Motion design or animation capabilities 
• Experience with event branding and experiential design 
• Familiarity with print production processes 
• Passion for markets, trading, or financial technology 

Compensation: 

The salary range for this role will be $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 10%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%). 

Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

This role is based in Chicago, IL. *There may be remote flexibility for exceptional candidates in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, Wisconsin. 

Hybrid: 

For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days, we offer: 

• 20 additional flex remote days annually 
• 5 Company Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays
