We are currently seeking a Digitial Strategist, Nonprofit.
The Digital Strategist position will have a focus on email and paid media strategy and contribute to multi-channel campaign execution for our portfolio of non-profit clients. This role will support several different clients, supporting various digital fundraising initiatives simultaneously, and coordinating campaign delivery across a larger cross-functional team.

As Digital Strategist at Data Axle, you'll manage tactical execution of digital campaigns for a group of our nonprofit clients. While this role will focus on email marketing strategy, this role will be expected to assist with other digital components based on client needs and so a general understanding of digital marketing as a whole is ideal. Your clients will depend on you to help develop impactful campaigns and to make sure campaigns are done right and on time. Your internal team will rely on you to provide them with the information they need to get the job done. Your responsibilities will include executing and managing the creative development and production cycle for multi-channel programs where our work is predominantly email. Additional essential job functions include the following:
- Partnering with dedicated client leaders to deliver solid programs that fit within the non-profits mission, strategic initiatives and budget
- Partnering with Account Directors to develop monthly initiatives across clients
- Working with the team to present a cohesive fundraising strategy to meet client’s monthly budget
- Partnering with internal team members to develop new campaign design, web/email development, and implementation including creative brief and version plan development
- Monitoring results to ensure effectiveness, to make any necessary changes, and to analyze campaigns for learnings to enhance future efforts
- Coordinating production teams and quality control of email campaigns
- Maintaining comprehensive project plans for each assigned client
- Partnering with Web Production, Media Team, and Digital Operations Team (when applicable) for accurate and on time campaign deployment
- Serving as one of the primary liaisons between the Client and all internal departments as applicable, including Strategy, Creative, Data Management, Analytics, Web Production, Database, Print Production and Digital Campaign Operations
- Nurturing and growing successful client relationships
- Being an advocate for the Client, translating their needs into actionable direction for the internal teams
- Maintain timelines and budgets with accuracy
- Presenting results and final reporting to drive more effective programs
- Overseeing quality control at every step of the process and anticipating potential issues

Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent*
- 1-3 years of related experience in a fast-paced agency environment and client-facing role*
- Email & digital (SEM, programmatic, or paid social) experience required*, direct mail experience optional
- Experience in the nonprofit space desired but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.*
- Must understand moderate Excel reporting capabilities with a desire to learn more advanced skills.*
- Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional standards for quality and strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing expectations and build effective relationships across the organization.
