At AlertMedia, everything we do supports our mission: To save lives and minimize loss by identifying active threats globally and facilitating timely communications when an emergency threatens personal safety and business continuity.

Our core values drive us in our important mission of keeping people safe & informed:

  • We’re humans not robots
  • Customers always come first
  • We work better together
  • Simplicity is our strength
  • Our reputation is priceless
  • Hard work pays off

As one of the fastest growing softwarecompanies in the United States, we’re focused on finding the best talent and building the best team to continue accelerating our rapid growth to keep up with our demand!

As the Senior Director, Field Marketing & Events, you’ll play a central role in AlertMedia's go-to-market strategy—driving how we engage, convert, and grow across market segments. You’ll lead a global team responsible for high-impact outbound and event initiatives, partner closely with Sales and GTM leaders, and ensure marketing investments translate into opportunities, pipeline, and bookings. This role balances leadership, strategy, and execution in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

What you’ll get to do every day:

  • Provide strategic leadership for outbound marketing and event programs across new business segments, including outbound campaigns, gifting, associations, dinners, trade shows, virtual events, roundtables, and more to drive pipeline creation.
  • Oversee GTM strategy & execution in EMEA for full-funnel demand programs—including email, events, webinars, gifting, associations, advocacy, and more to drive market interest.
  • Be accountable for opportunity and pipeline metrics across all new business segments, ensuring accurate attribution and consistent reporting to inform strategy, planning, and executive decision-making.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales leadership, Sales Development, and Marketing to align around opportunity and pipeline creation targets — acting as a strategic advisor on outbound approach without directly managing SDRs.
  • Manage and steward an annual budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and clear ROI visibility.
  • Lead and mentor a global team across segment marketing and event functions, enabling high-impact execution and growth.
  • Own the strategy and playbook for leveraging our tech stack to increase efficiency, accelerate outbound workflows, and improve ABM campaign performance.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and SDRs to refine outbound messaging, targeting, and tactics to reach qualified buyers across all new business segments.

What you bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with 5+ years focused on outbound programs & events.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling outbound & events programs that translate to revenue.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of building strong partnerships with Sales and Sales Development.
  • Skilled at distilling complex performance data into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capable copywriter & editor with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating and deploying AI tools and sales technologies (e.g., prospecting automation, intent platforms, ABM tools) to drive efficiency and scale.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to shift priorities quickly based on evolving business needs.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Sendoso, Wrike, FullCircle, and ABM/intent platforms preferred.
  • This is a hybrid position (2-3 days a week) based in our beautiful downtown headquarters in Austin, Texas.
