This role is responsible for commercial marketing strategy, market positioning, and market leadership for the Comcast Business solutions portfolio across Small Business and Enterprise, shaping how Comcast Business competes, grows, and brings differentiated solutions to market. As a strategic leader responsible for commercial marketing strategy across the Comcast Business solutions portfolio, this Senior Director partners with Product, Finance, Segment Marketing, and senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and commercial priorities that inform solution investments, portfolio strategy, and commercialization strategies. The role develops differentiated customer value propositions, solution positioning, commercial narratives, and proof-backed claims while shaping Comcast Business's approach to analyst engagement, market intelligence, and industry recognition to strengthen market credibility and competitive advantage. Working cross-functionally, this role helps ensure priority solutions are brought to market with clear differentiation, compelling customer value, and coordinated go-to-market execution. - Lead commercial marketing strategy for the Comcast Business solutions portfolio, shaping solution priorities, portfolio strategy, commercialization approaches, and growth initiatives across Small Business and Enterprise.
- Partner with Product, Finance, Segment Marketing, and senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and commercial viability that inform solution investments, portfolio strategy, and long-range planning.
- Develop differentiated customer value propositions, solution positioning, commercial narratives, commercialization strategies, launch frameworks, and strategic briefs that establish the foundation for integrated go-to-market execution.
- Leverage customer insights, market intelligence, analyst research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to shape commercial marketing strategy, portfolio direction, and executive decision-making.
- Establish market leadership through differentiated positioning, compelling proof points, product claims, reasons-to-believe, analyst engagement, industry recognition, and third-party validation.
- Partner across Brand, Digital, Media, Enablement, Analytics, Sales, Operations, Customer Experience, and Legal to translate commercial marketing strategy into integrated go-to-market plans while maintaining strategic ownership through commercialization and launch readiness.
- Develop executive business cases, strategic recommendations, and commercial frameworks that influence portfolio priorities, growth strategies, and enterprise investment decisions.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of strategic thinking, commercial excellence, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of leadership experience in commercial marketing strategy, solutions marketing, product marketing, go-to-market strategy, product strategy, management consulting, or related strategic leadership roles within technology, telecommunications, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, enterprise software, or adjacent industries.
- Demonstrated success developing commercial marketing strategies, market positioning, and commercialization plans that drive business growth, influence portfolio direction, and establish differentiated market leadership.
- Experience partnering with Product & Technology, Finance, Sales, and senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business cases that inform solution investments, portfolio strategy, and strategic decision-making.
- Deep expertise in customer insights, market sizing, audience segmentation, competitive intelligence, analyst research, and market analytics to develop executive recommendations and commercial marketing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Experience, and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams while fostering a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional executive communication, strategic storytelling, and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into clear recommendations and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging industry analysts, third-party validation, customer proof points, thought leadership, or comparable market influence programs to strengthen market credibility is preferred.
- MBA or equivalent combination of advanced business education and strategic leadership experience preferred.
