Job Description

Our client, a Fortune 200 $15B+ global holdings company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a part of the External Reporting department. The Senior Financial Analyst will have an excellent understanding of accounting, strong business acumen, compliance, good communication skills and be able to work independently. This role offers fantastic growth along with a world class benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Company’s quarterly close and consolidation across all worldwide businesses and corporate activities
  • Identify and lead various projects to improve process efficiency and overall timeliness and accuracy of financial information
  • Participate in special projects
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings and disclosures (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.)
  • Prepare analysis and commentary for quarterly management reports
  • Work on the global accounting for complex technical areas such as worldwide acquisition accounting, goodwill, intangibles and restructuring
  • Support annual SOX process documentation and compliance
  • Work with external auditors to resolve issues

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 4-5+ years of relevant industry or public accounting experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including active listening skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Effective time management skills to ensure that work is complete efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills and overall knowledge of accounting principles
  • Develops understanding of corporate policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Computer proficiency with Oracle HFM a plus
