Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Lead specializing in Warehouse Systems to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, support, and implementation of warehouse management systems and warehouse control systems, with a particular focus on LMXT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL, supply chain management systems and warehouse operations, providing functional expertise and leadership to ensure the successful execution of key projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain system performance, playing a vital role in driving business success. 

Location: Remote with travel
Schedule: 
1st Shift with the ability to work outside of normal business hours for any emergencies including weekends based on business needs.
Travel: 
Up to 50% travel to any of our customer’s USA sites.
Compensation: 
$100,000–$125,000 annually plus bonus, based on experience, skills, and education. Includes comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the functional design and implementation of warehouse system solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Provide warehouse training and supporting documentation for system changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, development, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide functional guidance and mentorship to IT teams.
  • Conduct system/architecture reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the WMS, WCS, and other supporting applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, system modifications, integration plans, and user guides.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in a WMS system and supply chain management technologies.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure data integrity, system performance, and scalability of WMS solutions.
  • Up to 50% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles within supply chain management systems, specifically focused on WMS systems.
  • Hands-on experience with functional warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS architecture, including configuration, extension/customization, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in database management systems, particularly SQL Server and writing SQL queries.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Experience integrating WMS with other enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and modern supply chain technologies.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools and reporting frameworks beyond WMS systems.
  • Experience in process optimization and driving efficiency improvements in warehouse operations.
