Overall Purpose
The Senior Lead Product Manager is responsible for defining and delivering the strategy, roadmap, and platform capabilities for the Zelle Data Platform. The role will gather and structure Zelle data assets in a way that supports analytics, near-real-time use cases, and responsible data activation across the enterprise. This leader will align engineering, data, risk, growth product, and enterprise data stakeholders around reusable data capabilities that create value for internal teams, clients, and the broader Zelle business.
Essential Functions
- Visionary and Strategist: Builds alignment across cross-functional teams to define the Zelle Data Platform vision, roadmap, and value proposition. Articulates how platform capabilities support analytics, data asset growth, near-real-time use cases, and the broader EWS enterprise data strategy.
- Customer Passion and Advocacy: Brings the voice of platform consumers into product planning, including developers, data engineers, growth product teams, enterprise data stakeholders, and clients who need to leverage Zelle data capabilities.
- Creative Problem Solver: Works closely with engineering, fraud risk management, growth product, analytics, and enterprise data partners to develop practical, scalable data platform solutions in a highly collaborative environment.
- Commitment to Risk Management: Oversees the integration of strong risk and security controls. Ensures compliance to laws and regulations.
- Technical Understanding: Able and adept at working directly with technologists to deliver cloud- and services-oriented platform capabilities. Clearly defines requirements, prioritizes reusable data capabilities over one-off solutions, grooms user stories, and partners closely with technology teams.
Area of Specialty: Zelle Data Platform
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Zelle Data Platform, including capabilities that support analytics, near-real-time use cases, and responsible data activation.
- Lead the roadmap for Zelle Data Lake and the integration framework with our enterprise data platform, including delivery of the first version of the Zelle Data Lake.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop new Zelle data assets and interfaces that enable ongoing data asset growth and reuse across the business.
- Collaborate with platform consumers, including developers, data engineers, growth product teams, enterprise data partners, fraud risk management, and clients who need to leverage the platform.
- Establish product direction for data ownership, governance, availability, and quality for Zelle within the enterprise data strategy.
- Translate business, client, risk, and technical needs into clear requirements, user stories, prioritization decisions, and release plans.
- Make principled trade-off decisions between reusable platform capabilities and one-off data solutions, with clear ownership for follow-up and outcomes.
- Define and track platform success metrics such as data asset adoption, availability, quality, latency, consumer onboarding, and business value enabled.
- Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelors degree.
- 9 or more years of related work experience OR post-secondary degree and at least 4 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated experience in design thinking and agile development process and methodology
- Demonstrated leadership experience and cross functional collaboration experience
- Proven experience in and passion for building and delivering great products
- Demonstrated experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap and in meeting product revenue targets
- Excellent listening and execution skills
- Background and drug screen
- Demonstrated experience owning data products or data platform capabilities, such as data lakes, data consortia, identity graphs, marketing data assets, or internal-facing data infrastructure.
- Experience building product strategy and roadmaps for B2B products in regulated industries.
- 5 or more years of related work experience with cloud- and services-oriented data platforms, analytics, model-building, data engineering, or adjacent technical domains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Certifications in design thinking and/or agile.
- Prior experience working in payments, financial services, or similar regulated industry.
- Platform product management, B2B2C product management, or prior data engineering / technical experience.

Physical Requirements
Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment. As such, working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL in USD per year is: $175,000 - $225,000.
New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $180,000 - $240,000.
Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
