Our Better For You portfolio includes KIND®, RXBAR®, Nutri-Grain®, Special K Bars®, and Pure Organic®, combining the scale and resources of Mars with the agility, innovation, and entrepreneurial mindset of a growth business.

As Senior Manager, FP&A – Better For You, you will play a critical leadership role in driving financial performance and shaping the future of a growing portfolio of brands. Partnering closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, and senior cross-functional leaders, you'll deliver the insights, planning, and strategic guidance that help accelerate growth while modernizing how the business plans, reports, and makes decisions through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. Reporting to the CFO and leading a team of two, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, evolving environment where curiosity, agility, and innovation are highly valued.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive finance experience across FP&A, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes.
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive business decisions and deliver financial results.
  • Experience managing ambiguity and driving outcomes during periods of change, transformation, system implementations, ERP transitions, or similar business initiatives.
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to model and analyze all three financial statements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business partnering skills, with the ability to effectively challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Curious, analytical, and self-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable creating solutions where a playbook does not exist.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale businesses and complex P&Ls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, automation tools, AI-enabled solutions, or advanced analytics.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or food manufacturing experience.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Lead the annual operating plan and budgeting process, from methodology through stakeholder implementation, proposal review, and financial statement integration.
  • Own the management reporting process end-to-end, including close timelines, close meetings, and reporting deliverables, while continuously improving quality and efficiency.
  • Analyze KPIs and develop performance commentary, delivering insight-driven recommendations and presentations for Accelerator and Better For You leadership teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally to forecast the balance-of-year P&L, NCFO, and Latest Estimates, consolidating risks and opportunities while driving alignment on actions to deliver results.
  • Support long-range financial planning and evaluate large-scale strategic initiatives that shape the future of the business.
  • Drive reporting simplification, process automation, and adoption of AI and advanced analytics tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Lead and develop a team of two associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support ad hoc analyses, business cases, and special projects as needed.
What can you expect from Mars?
  • Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
  • Join a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.
  • Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.
  • An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
