This role is part of Chamberlain Group’s Marketing team. The Sr. Manager, Marketing – B2C will (i) Define, manage, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for new and existing product/service initiatives including: target market definition, integrated marketing plan, launch strategy, upsell strategy, acquisition strategy that achieve business goals and financial objectives (ii) Define and own product/service positioning and value propositions; create world class consumer experiences in partnership with cross-functional teams. Iii) orchestrate always-on and campaign-level efforts in conjunction with cross-functional teams and agency partners. This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field and 8+ years of proven experience marketing in consumer marketing (B2C) with heavy emphasis on e-commerce and strategies to drive acquisition and retention.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define, manage, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for new and existing product/service initiatives including target market definition, integrated marketing plan, launch strategy, upsell strategy, acquisition strategy that achieve business goals and financial objectives
  • Participate in ownership of the P&L by ensuring Chamberlain achieves growth goals under scope of responsibility
  • Define and own product/service positioning and value propositions; create world class consumer experiences in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to, digital, CRM/email, app, and web pages
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to align marketing strategies with product enhancements, promotions, and events ensuring a seamless customer journey and experience
  • Utilize data to measure the performance of all initiatives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer behaviors to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Conduct ongoing customer and market research and help manage testing that optimizes each initiative and develop new ideas across channels
  • Collaborate closely with Content and Creative leading the development of compelling product/service copy/content and campaigns while ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all consumer-facing efforts
  • Oversee development of all communications and programs across the broader marketing team
  • Maintain collaborative working relationship with product management by maintaining open communication channels, supporting initiatives with rich plans, and clarifying the brief and prioritizing activities and objectives where necessary
  • Partner closely with our Insights and Product teams to understand consumer needs, customer needs and the broader competitive landscape; stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies to continuously improve demand generation strategies
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of proven experience creating and leading holistic, integrated marketing strategies and execution for B2C brands that drive acquisition, retention and LTV
  • 4+ years experience in Brand Management partnering with cross functional partners (e.g. media, sales, internal creative teams / agencies, product teams, finance) to build plans that achieve financial outcomes 
  • Previous experience partnering with consumer insights to hone in on product positioning / communication hierarchy to present clear and concise value propositions through the consumer funnel and across channels
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time mainly in North America

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven expertise in analyzing marketing performance metrics and customer insights
  • Skilled at tracking holistic campaign ROI, budget management, and allocation of strategic budget and resources to maximize return on investment
  • Deep knowledge using consumer insights to build brand positioning and communication hierarchy 
  • Financial mindset and acumen – knowledge of P&L drivers and aligning budgets to financial priorities
  • Communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Previous time in Brand Management as well as oversight of technology brands (consumer hardware, app-based services) preferred

  • Strong understanding of the smart home category and emerging trends
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities to plan, execute, and monitor multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines
  • Creative, yet analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure campaign effectiveness
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation
  • Ability to provide leadership, mentorship, and build internal culture
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional organization
  • Comfortable in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, and self-starter environment for a large consumer brand
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret marketing data and analytics to draw insights, make data-driven decisions, and optimize campaign performance
