* Job Summary
* The Senior Marketing Tech Enablement Manager will serve as a strategic leader driving marketing technology management, implementation, operational excellence, and innovation across CDW's business solutions and services. This role is responsible for defining and executing enablement strategies that empower business, sales, and marketing teams to leverage advanced MarTech capabilities, optimize processes, and deliver impactful digital experiences at scale.
* What you will do
* Define and own the MarTech reference architecture, ensuring platforms, data flows, and integrations align to business strategy and enterprise technical standards.
* Architect scalable, API‑driven solutions that enable seamless data movement across CDP, journey orchestration, automation, analytics, and personalization platforms.
* Evaluate, select, and guide implementation of emerging MarTech tools, assessing technical fit, extensibility, integration complexity, and long‑term sustainability.
* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on marketing technology enablement and operational excellence.
* Provide clear direction, set priorities, and align team goals with organizational objectives.
* Establish architectural guardrails and integration governance to ensure reliability, consistency, and compliance across all customer‑facing technologies.
* Develop and maintain system diagrams, integration schemas, and API documentation, ensuring cross‑functional teams understand system dependencies and data flows.
* Define technical SLAs, performance benchmarks, and monitoring standards to ensure marketing platform uptime, scalability, and data accuracy.
* Lead technical enablement for teams on APIs, data models, identity resolution, and integration patterns across Adobe, Salesforce, and related systems.
* Create and maintain documentation that explains complex technical processes, including workflows, triggers, and data pipelines in marketer‑friendly terms.
* Drive adoption of best practices in technology, journey design, personalization, and measurement.
* Translate complex technical capabilities into marketer-friendly language through clear documentation and storytelling.
* Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
* Oversee project timelines and delivery from ideation to execution.
* Guide solution architecture reviews for all MarTech projects, ensuring scalability, technical feasibility, and alignment with enterprise data strategies.
* Oversee vendor technical deliverables, ensuring they meet CDW's architectural requirements and integration standards.
* Design and oversee end‑to‑end MarTech solution architectures, including data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation logic, real‑time decisioning, and activation workflows.
* Lead integration architecture across platforms, using REST APIs, webhooks, event streaming, and ETL/ELT patterns to ensure secure, scalable data flow.
* Serve as technical escalation point for API troubleshooting, data pipeline failures, platform limitations, and system interdependencies.
* Partner with Digital, Sales, RevOps, and Data teams to define integration and data requirements, ensuring quality and compliance.
* Provide consultation during build and implementation, resolving design questions and risks.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing technology team, setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering professional growth and accountability
* Champion modernization of the MarTech stack, driving initiatives around composable architecture, real‑time personalization, and AI/ML‑driven decisioning.
* Evaluate platform performance and technical debt, making recommendations for re‑architecture, refactoring, or sunset decisions.
* Stay ahead of industry trends in APIs, CDPs, cloud architecture, and digital identity, guiding CDW toward a future‑ready MarTech ecosystem.
* Promote best practices across marketing automation, including testing, validation, and change management.
* Living the CDW values through their own behavior, modeling them for their team, and demonstrating them in partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration, integrity, and business results.
* What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in Marketing Technology, CRM, or Data-Driven Marketing roles OR
* 3+ years managing teams, ideally in marketing, marketing technology, or digital/analytics functions.
* Required Platform Expertise: Adobe (AEP, Marketo, RTCDP, Target), Salesforce, and Monday.com.
* Strong understanding of customer data platforms, engagement platforms, and workflow management tools.
* Strong leader who can coach team members on technical skills, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management to drive career growth.
* Proven ability to use data and technology to deliver personalized experiences across owned and paid media.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
* Strong project management skills with experience in capability deployment, training, and change management.
* Ability to influence across a matrix organization and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strategic thinking and ability to connect dots across people, process, and technology.
* Empathy for marketer needs and focus on driving innovation at scale.
* Strong storytelling and executive communication skills.
* Collaborative mindset with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
