We are looking for a Sr. Manager, People Business Partner who will collaborate with our cross-functional People teams to support and build trusted partnerships with our Gong leaders and employees. This role will be the main PBP for our Customer Success and Customer Outcomes teams. Key responsibilities include talent assessment and organization planning, driving employee relations, performance processes, team engagement and retention, career development, manager coaching, and strategic People team projects. The ideal candidate will embody our Operating Principles and contribute to an inclusive & performance driven culture. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with people business partners, total rewards, recruiting, learning and development, people operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders, leaders, and employees to support strategic People priorities.
  • Drive proactive People projects to scale and support our fast-paced, high-growth business, including workforce planning, organizational structure, development of high performing teams, change management, and communications.
  • Lead HR for our CS & CO organization, partnering with Executives all the way through to Managers to deliver HR programs including performance management, management excellence programs, and compensation reviews.
  • Coach and advise managers on complex HR matters, including sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Guide managers on career pathing and leveling as well as skill and professional development.
  • Lead day-to-day activities related to HR policies, processes, and programs.
  • Design, plan, and execute various central and departmental initiatives and programs.
  • Track and analyze key indicators of organizational health and recommend ways to improve.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 8 + years of progressive experience in high-growth organizations in a People/HR position, including experience in business-facing roles.  
  • A demonstrated level of competence in employee relations, coaching, performance management, change management, project management, and employment laws.
  • Thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
  • Curious and continuous learner.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and holistically, and roll up your sleeves and execute.
  • Collaborative cross-functional partner with a win-as-a-team attitude.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $163,200 - $192,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
