PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $117,200.00-$143,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $91,000.00 - $169,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Sr People Analytics Analyst at BECU, you’ll turn data into direction. You’ll partner across teams to uncover meaningful workforce insights that help shape smarter decisions, stronger strategies, and a more engaged organization. Your ability to connect the dots across complex data sets will empower leaders to act with clarity and confidence.

You’ll play a key role in elevating how BECU understands and supports its people—transforming raw data into compelling stories that drive real change. By blending advanced analytics with emerging AI capabilities, you’ll help design forward-thinking solutions that influence how we hire, grow, and support talent across the organization.

To join our dynamic team in this role, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, CA, AZ, TX, NC, SC, GA, or VA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance to our Tukwila Headquarters (TFC), we encourage you come into the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays each week.  For those candidates that live outside the commutable distance to TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be primarily remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own Analytics Programs End-to-End: You’ll take the lead on people analytics initiatives within key functional areas, shaping how they’re designed, launched, and scaled across the organization.

  • Partner as a Strategic Advisor: You’ll collaborate closely with People teams and business leaders, helping build and mature enterprise-wide people analytics capabilities that make a lasting impact.

  • Drive Innovation with Advanced Analytics & AI: You’ll explore, pilot, and implement advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions—always aligning with enterprise data, privacy, and governance standards.

  • Lead Through Complexity: You’ll independently navigate ambiguous challenges, using sound judgment to prioritize, design, and execute high-impact analytics work.

  • Design Scalable Analytics Frameworks: You’ll create and evolve tools, approaches, and frameworks that enable consistent, scalable, and insightful workforce analytics.

  • Shape Operating Models: You’ll work with stakeholders to build sustainable processes for intake, prioritization, governance, and delivery of analytics work.

  • Uncover Workforce Insights: You’ll proactively identify patterns, trends, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle to strengthen people strategies.

  • Build Data Foundations: You’ll design and maintain scalable data models and pipelines, partnering with HRIS and data teams to ensure accuracy, integrity, and seamless integration.

  • Tell Compelling Data Stories: You’ll translate complex findings into clear, engaging narratives that inspire action and guide senior leader decisions.

  • Turn Ambiguity into Action: You’ll break down high-level questions into structured analyses and practical, actionable solutions.

  • Enable Self-Service Analytics: You’ll develop automated and scalable reporting solutions that empower teams to access insights independently.

  • Serve as a Data Expert: You’ll act as a trusted authority on people data, ensuring proper interpretation, usage, and governance aligned with business needs.

  • Communicate with Clarity: You’ll deliver insights through impactful visualizations, presentations, and executive-ready materials tailored to diverse audiences.

  • Balance Priorities Effectively: You’ll manage multiple initiatives while staying focused on delivering meaningful, high-value outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data & Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work and educational experience.

  • 5 years of experience performing people analytics, workforce analytics, or advanced data analysis in a complex or matrixed organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM/HRIS systems

  • Experience with Visier or similar people analytics or workforce intelligence platforms (e.g. One Model, Lattice, Paradigm, etc.)

  • Familiarity with or hands-on experience using coding and data tools such as SQL, Snowflake, and Azure DevOps (ADO) to support analytics, data management, and workflow automation.

  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
