Ingredion Inc. seeks Sr Process Engineer in Bedford Park, IL

Job Duties: Responsible for providing technical support to maintenance and operations groups including process studies, troubleshooting, process optimization, and analysis of historical data to identify, monitor and control key operating parameters. Responsible for developing Best Operational Practices (BOPs) related to crystallization processes and audit these processes to standard to support consistent delivery and continuous improvement of process outcomes. Develop and validate Standard Operating Procedures and completes Management of Change (MOC) to ensure technical proficiency and validity of documentation. Routinely review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all processes and documentation adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and FSSC22000 standards. Lead or serve as subject-matter-expert for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process deviations and incidents. Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement problem solving projects (PDCA, Kaizen, SMED, LSS) that support plant performance enhancement at all dimensions. Drive and support initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any field) or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Salary: $122,616.00-153,200.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
