About SweatPals

Sweatpals is the community-first fitness platform turning workouts into social experiences. Backed by a16z speedrun, Patron, Kevin Hart, Pear VC, and founders of Instacart and Dreamworks Animations, we connect hundreds of thousands of “pals,” hosts, and gyms through events, memberships, and social features. We’re still scrappy at heart, but scaling fast.

We believe working out should be joyful, social, and inclusive - not just a solo grind. From run clubs and beach pilates to pickleball leagues and cold plunge socials, Sweatpals turns everyday workouts into meaningful social experiences.

Sweatpals also gives local leaders the tools to grow their fitness communities from side hustles to full-time, even million-dollar businesses. Hosts use our platform to run their business -- from ticketing and memberships to marketing and community engagement tools.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team at Sweatpals and focus on our Mobile App and SaaS platform. The Product Design team is crucial in our mission to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Our products support the growth of countless fitness communities and drive the adoption of Sweatpals among users across the globe.

As a Senior-Level Product Designer, you will work closely with the design team, engineers, marketing and customer success team to tackle complex design challenges. You’ll create intuitive, data-informed experiences that engage users, streamline community building, and support our growth goals. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of fitness communities worldwide.

You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have:
  • 5+ years of Product Design experience, ideally with a track record of taking consumer products from zero to one and scaling them.

  • Extensive experience designing for web and native mobile apps, particularly in consumer-facing products. Experience with community or social platforms is a big plus.

  • A startup mindset: You are energized by a fast-paced environment, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of design excellence.

  • A deep understanding of the data-driven design process, with experience in cohort analysis, Amplitude, Google Analutand other tracking tools to inform design decisions is a plus.

  • Top-notch design craft and ability to ideate rapidly and produce high-quality design concepts.

  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate your design decisions, receive feedback, and collaborate effectively across teams.

  • A passion for user-centric design and a knack for balancing business impact with user needs.

  • A growth mindset and comfort with experimentation, learning from both successes and failures.

  • A collaborative, humble approach -- you thrive in feedback-rich environments and enjoy helping others improve.

Why Work at Sweatpals?
  • Impact: Have a significant impact on a fast-growing company in the fitness and wellness space. Work alongside a high-performing, passionate team.

  • Flexibility: We value a balance between performance and freedom. We’re a remote enabled team with a culture that values work-life harmony.

  • Innovation: Take on challenging problems that push the boundaries of user engagement and growth in the fitness industry. Shape the way fitness enthusiasts connect and thrive.

  • Compensation: Competitive salary and stock options based on your experience, skills, and market trends.

Our Values
  • Celebrate Diversity: Different perspectives make us better.

  • Be a Leader: Initiative is a mindset, not a title.

  • Roll Up Our Sleeves: No job is too small when building something big.

  • Embrace the Adventure: We stay curious and see challenges as opportunities.
