About the Role:

Infrastructure Foundations provides the essential infrastructure that powers CrowdStrike. As a Sr. Program Manager, Engineering, you'll be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs and partnering with engineering teams to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives. Your primary focus will entail driving the scheduling, scoping, and execution of large-scale infrastructure programs including cloud migrations, platform modernization, reliability improvements, and cost optimization. You'll work closely across functional teams and geo-locations to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution. This high-visibility role demands strong ownership, technical depth, strategic thinking, and executive communication.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Strategic Infrastructure Programs

  • Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale infrastructure initiatives, working directly with Engineering teams, SRE, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to ensure timely delivery against the roadmap

  • Translate business and engineering priorities into clear roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes

  • Create and drive project schedules, working with engineering management on task assignments and managing schedule progress; from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies within and across Product and Platform Groups

  • Establish and monitor key success metrics including delivery timelines, reliability improvements, cost savings, and team velocity

  • Proactively identify and communicate risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and opportunities that impact infrastructure strategy

Orchestrate Cross-Functional Execution

  • Collaborate with staff and management of multiple worldwide business units (including subject matter experts, product management, SRE teams, and platform engineering) to clearly identify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals, expectations, and tasks

  • Proactively track the status of project activities and ensure that schedules and priorities are being met

  • Identify, track, and manage dependencies within and across teams; escalate critical blockers and drive resolution with urgency

  • Ensure critical issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated if necessary

  • Triage inbound requests, issues, and help coordinate operational escalations

  • Ensure quality documentation, change management processes, and operational readiness for all infrastructure changes

Partner with Leadership and Technical Teams

  • Partner and facilitate directly with teams at all levels—from detailed technical discussions with engineers to strategic summations at the executive level

  • Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and communicate technical context, aligning it with business objectives to help drive project deliverables, resources, and timelines

  • Translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear business value propositions that drive decision-making

  • Proactively manage daily/weekly project communication and status reporting

  • Lead Scrum meetings and create and follow up on meeting minutes and action items

  • Maintain executive presence while building technical credibility with engineering teams through deep understanding of infrastructure challenges

  • Flexibly work across timezones to help coordinate and follow up on work

What You’ll Need:

  • 7+ years of technical program/project management experience in large-scale infrastructure or cloud environments

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, SRE practices, and modern platform architectures

  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-team programs with measurable business impact

  • Proficient in Jira and familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and facilitation

  • Outstanding communication skills—articulate complex technical topics clearly to all audiences from engineers to executives

  • Excel at proactively driving results, managing obstacles, and making data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments

  • Must work effectively with cross-functional teams worldwide in collaborative, consensus-driven environments

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience

  • Background in cybersecurity or high-availability systems is a plus
