BAE Systems is hiring a Sr. Programmer Analyst. This is a contractor conversion position and will be filled by a current contract employee.
Working with an experienced and creative Digital Technologies team you will be building applications that support the development of advanced technology and help optimize the processes to bring those products to market.
Key Responsibilities:• Maintain and improve existing Java and WinForms applications.• Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely solutions.• Merge application functionality to streamline processes and reduce the number of in-house developed tools.• Perform SQL database record corrections and query development.• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve software-related issues.• Collaborate with teams in support of transitioning in-house tool functionality to production solutions.• Maintain code for tools in controlled GitLab repositories.• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support application integration.• Promote an Agile development methodology and participate in daily Scrum meetings, sprint plannings events, and sprint reviews.• Manage SQL and Oracle databases, including developing and optimizing stored procedures and user-defined functions.• Ensure clear and processional communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Proficient in full-stack development using C# and Java
- Strong knowledge of WinForms, ASP.NET, Web UI, and RESTful APIs
- Extensive experience in SQL database development, including stored procedures, user-defined functions, and user-defined types
- Familiarity with Oracle databases and query development
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Solid understanding of Scrum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
