About the Role
The Senior Project Manager reports to the Director of Supply Chain and is responsible for planning, facilitating, and executing the on-time, on-quality, and on-budget delivery of all projects in the product pipeline. This role will support the bi-annual innovation pipeline planning process, the monthly stage gate process, and weekly cross-functional team meetings in order to identify, align, and execute projects required to deliver balanced organizational objectives across innovation, renovation, cost savings, IT systems, and our company mission.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery of innovation, renovation, cost savings, IT Systems, and Company Mission based projects
Coordinate cross-functional communication and deliverables necessary to achieve project objectives via weekly meetings and relative project trackers
Actively track project progress, identify potential risks and proactively implement solutions to mitigate delays and/or setbacks
Facilitate and present the project pipeline to executive leadership, providing updates on project status, overall performance, strategic alignment, and soliciting feedback to inform future planning and decision-making
Support the Stage Gate process for new product development and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
Define clear criteria and deliverables at each stage of the project lifecycle to evaluate project feasibility, resource allocation, and potential risks
Facilitate cross-functional reviews and approvals at key stage gates, fostering collaboration and accountability among team members and stakeholders
Lead cross-functional training sessions to educate team members on new processes, tools, and best practices related to operations, project pipeline process, stage gate and change management
Qualifications
7 years of experience in Project Management, Business, or Operations for CPG companies
Must have prior experience leading cross functional teams to deliver against project based objectives
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, across functional teams
Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and analyze data utilizing use for long-term strategic decisions
