Job Title:  Sr SAP Solutions Architect/Lead for SCM & Mftg - Remote
 PP, QM, PM, MM, SD & EWM S4 HANA Migration - With command of Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM), Material Mgmt (MM), EWM & SD functional Consultants Hybrid with Travel
Client pays all travel expenses and it would be occasional travel mostly remote.
Start Date: Immediate Start
Job Type: 6-12 Month with possible Contract to hire

Role Summary


SAP Functional SME with proven, hands-on experience in manufacturing and supply chain SAP modules. You will need to conduct site-by-site process assessments across CLIENT's global manufacturing locations(in USA), driving adoption of OOTB S/4HANA processes and minimizing the need for custom development.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed as-is process reviews at each CLIENT site or within a defined product line

Map current SAP ECC processes to S/4HANA OOTB equivalents and identify gaps requiring process change

Work directly with CLIENT site teams and operational staff to understand local process nuances

Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs to align site-level processes with the global S/4 blueprint

Document functional specifications for any justified configuration or development requirements

Collaborate with Deloitte/Accenture blueprint teams to ensure consistency and avoid duplication

Support the identification of a pilot site or MVP product line workflow for an early DXC proof of value

Provide inputs into the 2–3 solution options for mid-March presentation


Required Skills & Experience – Production & Manufacturing 


10-15+ years of SAP functional experience with deep expertise in:

PP (Production Planning) – MRP, production orders, capacity planning

QM (Quality Management) – inspection plans, usage decisions, defect management

PM (Plant Maintenance) – maintenance orders, equipment master, MRO scenarios

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and integration with MES systems

Background in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing preferred


Supply Chain & Inventory


MM (Materials Management) – procurement, inventory management, goods movement

SD (Sales & Distribution) – order management, delivery, billing in MRO context

EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) – preferred for parts distribution scenarios

Experience with multi-site, global supply chain SAP landscapes

Familiarity with parts distribution networks, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) scenarios, and MRO inventory management is highly desirable
