Peoria, IL 61605. Design, develop, modify, write, and implement software applications using agile methods. Perform implementation, problem solving, maintenance, and support for software development. Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation. Write source code for new applications and enhance code for existing ones. Utilize automated testing tools for testing and maintenance. Conduct walkthroughs and monitor development effectiveness and quality. Estimate and monitor development costs based on functional and technical requirements. Manage advantages and drawbacks of development languages and tools. Participate in documenting data, ideas, stakeholders, and processes. Apply critical thinking to assess risks, benefits, and alternatives. Facilitate design reviews and analyze software architecture and design. Integrate software into customer or partner infrastructure. Solicit customer feedback, and report and monitor bugs and implementation issues. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Java Sprint Framework; (2) RESTful APIs and Swagger API; (3) Github; (4) HTML; (5) Software product testing and test readiness reviews; and (6) Reporting and monitoring bugs and implementation issues.

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $183,140.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
