We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, myQ Platform to lead the charge in identifying, improving, and standardizing critical components of our myQ platform. This is a pivotal role where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our IoT-focused system as we grow both our residential and commercial lines of business. 

 

Education requirements include: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field 

Experience requirements include: 5+ years in Product Management or Engineering 

 

 

Essential Duties: 

Strategic Planning: 

  • Define and prioritize back-end system enhancements to meet business goals and support scaling efforts. 
  • Develop a roadmap for standardizing back-end processes and APIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. 
  • Create compelling business cases to justify development costs and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. 
  • Assess tradeoffs and make difficult decisions between competing priorities, balancing technical feasibility, business impact, and time-to-market. 

Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Serve as the bridge between our residential and commercial lines of business, partnering closely with software product managers, engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to identify inefficiencies and develop standardized solutions. 
  • Lead an agile scrum team in implementation of these solutions 
  • Act as the voice of the back-end system for stakeholders, translating technical requirements into actionable plans. 

Process Improvement: 

  • Define and implement best practices for back-end development and system integrations. 
  • Streamline processes to enhance data flow, event handling, and cross-platform compatibility for IoT devices. 

Analytics & Metrics: 

  • Develop KPIs to measure the success of back-end improvements. 
  • Drive the implementation of analytics systems to monitor system performance and uptime 

The pay range/rate of pay for this position is $123,000.00-$216,000.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.  In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).  This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
