Job Overview
The Sr. Consulting Solution Engineer – Enterprise supports a national team of sellers focused on large commercial Enterprise accounts. This leader partners with Enterprise Sales to position and sell T-Mobile for Business products and services by leveraging strong technical expertise, business acumen, and industry knowledge.
Solution Engineers engage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to understand business objectives, identify operational challenges, and architect scalable, outcome-driven solutions that align with enterprise priorities such as digital transformation, cost optimization, mobility modernization, and network performance.
The Sr. Consulting Solution Engineer – Enterprise closely collaborates with solution architects to design integrated solutions, provides technical leadership during sales presentations and product demonstrations, and delivers deep technical insight in response to complex enterprise customer inquiries. The SE also supports Enterprise Sales by reviewing strategic opportunities and pipeline health while keeping sales teams informed of relevant technologies, competitive positioning, and industry trends impacting commercial markets.
Role expectations include maintaining advanced-level technical knowledge within a defined product and solutions portfolio, including:
5G Advanced Network solutions, Private Networks, IoT, Fixed Wireless Access, Collaboration, Cloud connectivity, Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Security, Partner device and application ecosystem certification and enablement.
SEs maintain technical expertise and industry credibility through continuous learning, participation in internal and external training programs, and pursuit of relevant partner or industry certifications.
The Sr. Consulting Solution Engineer – Enterprise is a technical leader with strong business acumen, balancing enterprise market knowledge, technical depth, strategic thinking, communication excellence, and leadership capability. This individual plays a critical role in driving differentiated, innovative solutions that deliver measurable business impact for T-Mobile for Business Enterprise customers.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Supports pre-sales activities including (but not limited to): providing RFP technical input, partnering with account teams to drive Regional/National enterprise sales growth, owning customer technical relationships, understanding business drivers and operational nuances, designing and architecting enterprise services and solutions, uncovering expansion opportunities, and presenting product roadmaps to enterprise customers and sales teams.

    • Leads and participates in Executive Briefing Center presentations for commercial enterprise customers.

    • Identify and develop opportunities within large Enterprise commercial accounts across industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail, and technology.

    • Assist with Go-To-Market strategy in partnership with Sales, Product, and third-party vendors, including 5G Advanced Network and IoT solutions deployment, solution sizing, and scalable enterprise architecture planning.

    • Assist with training, technical documentation, and development for the Solution Engineering and Enterprise Sales organizations.

    • Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Care teams to provide field feedback, support strategic initiatives, and drive market-level enterprise opportunities.

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
      OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
    • 7-10 years - Experience in telecommunications, IT administration or network engineering roles with a professional track record of successful solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Technical Leadership (Required)
    • Communication Excellent oral and written communications; strong interpersonal skills. (Required)
    • Applications Proficiency with business application software. (Required)
    • Strategic Leadership Ability to provide strategic direction in a leadership role. (Required)
    • Technical Presentations Ability to create and deliver technical presentations. (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $140,600 - $253,600, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $98,420 - $177,520

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
