  • Help maintain the sales and use tax compliance calendar to ensure filing deadlines are met
  • Support the Avalara tax engine, including configuration and troubleshooting integration issues with NetSuite
  • Respond to notices and inquiries from state and local taxing authorities related to sales and use tax
  • Assist with international tax compliance, reporting, or research as needed (a plus)

  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and Operations teams on tax-related matters

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of relevant tax experience, with a solid foundation in U.S. domestic (federal and state) tax compliance
  • Working experience with U.S. sales and use tax compliance
  • Experience working with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
  • Familiarity with Avalara or similar tax automation software
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large volumes of data
