WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Sr. Technical Account Manager will be responsible for the hands-on technical execution, support, and day-to-day management required to onboard and scale Connected TV (CTV) publisher partners. This role focuses on the practical implementation of core product solutions, including Identity Data Match, IRIS_ID content identification, and Direct Inventory Integrations.

Reporting to the Technical Account Management Director, you will guide partners through the technical lifecycle - from scoping initial requirements and leading integrations to troubleshooting and optimizing performance. You will serve as a key technical point of contact, ensuring that publisher engagements are supported by high-quality delivery and seamless technical execution.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • End-to-End Onboarding: Lead the technical implementation for CTV publisher partners, managing the full lifecycle of Direct Inventory, IRIS_ID, and Identity Data Match integrations.
  • Proactive Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on support for incident response and issue resolution, ensuring data and inventory flows remain stable and accurate.
  • Data Investigation & Insights: Use Google BigQuery SQL to investigate data discrepancies, validate integration integrity, and surface actionable insights that drive partner optimization.
  • Operational Excellence: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including integration guides and FAQs, to streamline the onboarding experience.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement internal tools or AI-driven automations to improve troubleshooting speed and overall account productivity.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner closely with the Publisher Partnerships team to ensure technical delivery aligns with commercial goals and client timelines.
  • Performance Advocacy: Support business reviews and partner meetings to represent the technical health of the account and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Product Feedback Loop: Translate partner technical challenges and feature requests into clear requirements for the Product and Engineering roadmaps.
GREAT TO HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Account Management, Project Management, Ad Operations, or related roles.
  • 7+ years experience with Ad Tech platforms such as demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and/or data management platforms(DMPs).
  • Strong understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including DSPs, ad serving, programmatic buying, onboarding,and measurement.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical and measurement concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Google BigQuery preferred), Google Looker Studio, and cloud-based analytics tools.
  • Strategic mindset with a bias toward action; comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing without authority.

$100,000 - $115,000 
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
