Join us on our mission to empower more people to find their way home by breaking barriers to entry, making the right connections, and building confidence through expert guidance.

We need a Staff Art Director who can lead the design thinking behind our next national platform — someone who sees a brief and envisions not just a campaign, but a world. TV. Digital. Social. Motion. All of it, all at once, all connected by a single creative spine.

As a Staff Art Director at Realtor.com, you’ll lead creative for high-visibility national campaigns, present to our CMO, and build systems that let brilliant ideas scale without losing their soul. You’ll mentor a team that already does strong work and make them fearless.

You are a creative powerhouse, capable of crafting "big idea" platforms that resonate emotionally and scale effortlessly. You will co-lead creative with your copy partner and build on the momentum of award-winning work like our Reba McEntire "Nearly Home" brand platform and purpose-driven initiatives like "Mission Zero" for veterans.

What You’ll Do

For the Work

  • Craft National Platforms: Co-lead the development of big conceptual idea platforms and integrated campaigns that live across National TV, YouTube, and social ecosystems.
  • Drive Brand Narrative: Guide teams through ideation and execution, ensuring all output, from video to digital experiences and display units align with the core idea platform and our brand design language.
  • Scale High-Stakes Creative: Build upon successful playbooks and frameworks (like our partner programs and celebrity-led spots) to create the next generation of Realtor.com’s brand moments.
  • Systematize Excellence: Leverage AI (Gemini, Claude + Figma MCP) and motion frameworks to build scalable templates and design systems that are a productivity enhancement while staying open to how to use AI in ways that work for creative.
  • Direct & Unblock: Lead creative reviews with confidence, providing strategic feedback that connects visual execution back to the creative brief, "big idea" and business goals.

For the Culture

  • Mentor & Elevate: Inspire and develop senior and mid-level designers, fostering a culture of curiosity and high-caliber craft.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Partner seamlessly with your copy counterpart and Project Manager(s) to maintain a healthy, high-output creative team.
  • Champion Inclusive Design: Ensure our national stories represent the diverse lived experiences of home buyers and veterans everywhere.

Champion our values:

  • Embrace ownership—delivering quality, speed, and clarity of communication.
  • Push for innovation—testing new formats and approaches in digital and event design.
  • Build partnerships across teams—energizing collaborators and driving better outcomes together.

How We Work:

We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration. For most roles, our employees work three or more days in our offices, where they have the opportunity to collaborate in-person, adding richness to our culture and knitting us closer together.

What You Bring

  • Big Idea Thinking at Scale — A portfolio proving you have built conceptual platforms that work across TV, digital, and social without falling apart.
  • Leadership Credibility — You’re co-led creative teams, presented to C-suite stakeholders, and won the room without being precious.
  • Craft + Systems — You can design and think — you see the design system inside the campaign and build both simultaneously.
  • 8+ years of professional design experience, with a proven track record of leading national-scale conceptual campaigns, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

How we Reward you:

Realtor.com® is committed to investing in the health and wellbeing of our employees and their families. Our benefits programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Inclusive and Competitive medical, Rx, dental, and vision coverage
  • Family forming benefits
  • 13 Paid Holidays

  • Tuition Reimbursement program for degreed and non-degreed programs
  • 1:1 personalized Financial Planning Sessions
  • Student Debt Retirement Savings Match program
