Luxury Presence sits on one of the most valuable data assets in real estate. Hundreds of MLS feeds flow into our platform every day, powering the home search experiences and listing content that 18,000+ real estate businesses depend on. But today, that data lives in two separate worlds: agent-managed listing content on one side, and MLS-sourced search data on the other. Different schemas, different pipelines, different product experiences.
We’re at an inflection point. The opportunity isn’t just to unify these systems. It’s to build an entirely new category of data products on top of a unified foundation, products that turn MLS data into a competitive advantage for every agent on our platform. Think AI-powered search, automated CMAs, market intelligence, home valuations, listing performance analytics, and predictive seller leads. We’re scratching the surface of what’s possible.
This role exists to change that. We need a Staff-level product leader who sees data the way a builder sees raw materials: not as something to store and display, but as something to shape into products that make agents more successful. You’ll own the data product strategy end-to-end, from unifying our listing data architecture to shipping the first wave of new products at a pace that only AI-native ways of working make possible.
You must be AI-native. Not just familiar with AI tools. You think in AI-first terms when you scope products, accelerate your own work, and design experiences. You use AI to deliver at a pace and quality bar that would be impossible without it. That’s not a nice-to-have for this role. It’s the baseline.
What You’ll Own
Data Unification & Listing Suite
Lead the convergence of agent-managed listing content and MLS-sourced search data onto a single, central architecture, resolving divergent schemas, compliance requirements, and ownership models.
Own the Listing Suite product vision and delivery, creating a unified experience where agents manage all their listings, both agent-managed content and MLS-sourced data, in one place.
Partner with data engineering to define the unified data model, migration strategy, and phased rollout plan.
AI-Powered Search
Define and ship AI-powered search to beta, transforming how consumers discover listings on agent websites. Move beyond filters to natural language, lifestyle-based discovery.
Work closely with engineering to scope the AI/ML components and define what "great" looks like for search relevance and personalization.
Data Product Strategy & Roadmap
Within your first 60 days, deliver a prioritized data product roadmap that maps LP’s MLS data asset and enrichment opportunities to high-impact product concepts.
The roadmap should span agent-facing tools (CMAs, market intelligence, predictive seller leads, listing analytics), consumer-facing experiences (home valuation, AI search concierge), and brokerage analytics (market share, agent performance, recruitment intelligence).
Include build/buy/partner analysis, revenue potential estimates, and a phased execution plan.
Data Product Delivery
Ship the first net-new data product within 4 months, leveraging LP’s existing data foundations to move fast.
Deliver at least 3 net-new data products to market within your first 12 months, establishing a repeatable cadence of high-impact releases.
Own each product end-to-end: problem framing, scoping, spec, delivery, launch, and iteration.
How You’ll Work
Report to the Director of Product and partner daily with data engineering, application engineering, design, and product peers.
Operate as a force multiplier. One person delivering the output of a small team by leveraging AI, systems thinking, and relentless prioritization.
Drive alignment across engineering, data, design, and GTM without direct reports. You lead through clarity, trust, and execution.
Communicate crisply and proactively. You set context for leadership, unblock your engineering partners, and keep stakeholders informed without being asked.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
7+ years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on data products, data platforms, or data-intensive consumer/B2B applications.
Deep, hands-on experience with MLS data, IDX/RETS/RESO standards, and the compliance landscape governing real estate listing data. You’ve built products on top of MLS feeds before and understand the nuances of data licensing, display rules, and listing lifecycles.
Track record of shipping data products from zero to one. Not just maintaining existing features, but creating new products that generated measurable business impact.
Experience with data architecture and modeling at a level where you can partner credibly with data engineers on schema design, unification, and enrichment pipeline decisions. You don’t need to write SQL all day, but you understand how data architecture choices shape product capabilities.
AI-Native Mindset
You already use AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation) to accelerate your own work, including research, specs, analysis, and prototyping, and can demonstrate how this changes your output and velocity.
You design products with AI as a core capability, not a feature bolt-on. You know where LLMs, embeddings, classification models, and AI-assisted workflows fundamentally change what’s possible.
You’ve shipped (or meaningfully contributed to shipping) at least one AI-powered product experience.
Leadership & Mindset
Extreme ownership. You don’t wait for permission, escalate prematurely, or let ambiguity become an excuse. You figure it out and drive to outcomes.
Relentless execution. You ship fast, iterate fast, and hold yourself to aggressive timelines. You’re energized by velocity, not overwhelmed by it.
Audacious ambition. You look at LP’s data asset and see a portfolio of products, not incremental features. You think big and then make it real.
Customer empathy for real estate agents. You understand how agents work, what they value, and what they’ll pay for. You bridge the gap between what’s technically possible and what’s actually impactful.
Front-end product sensibility. You’re primarily a data product person, but you care about how data surfaces to users. You have instinct for the last mile of the experience.
