This role is central to making that happen.
In this role, you will play a critical role in LPDDR customer enablement by working on - site with customers in San Jose. You will collaborate directly with customer system and silicon engineers to drive joint system evaluation, accelerate product qualification, and ensure successful deployment of Micron LPDDR products in next - generation platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as an on - site customer enablement engineer, supporting joint system evaluation, silicon bring - up, and early platform integration activities for LPDDR products.
  • Provide direct, hands - on technical support through face - to - face discussions, lab debug, and rapid issue resolution.
  • Drive early identification and mitigation of system - level risks related to signal integrity, power, timing margins, performance, and reliability.
  • Serve as a primary technical interface between Micron and the customer for LPDDR engineering topics.
  • Clearly communicate Micron LPDDR architecture, design intent, and silicon behavior to customer system and silicon teams.
  • Translate customer system observations and requirements into actionable engineering inputs for Micron internal teams.
  • Prepare concise technical summaries, debug reports, and customer - facing documentation to support alignment and decision - making.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in DRAM or memory product engineering, design, or system - level support roles.
  • Deep technical understanding of DRAM architecture, LPDDR products, and memory subsystem behavior.
  • Proven experience providing direct customer support, including on - site or resident engineering roles.
  • Strong problem - solving skills with hands - on experience in system - level debug and failure analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly and effectively with customer engineers.
  • Ability to work independently and drive complex, cross - functional issues to closure.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior on - site customer assignment experience in San Jose or equivalent customer locations.
  • Experience supporting leading mobile, SoC, or system customers.
  • Ability to bridge design, product engineering, system, and quality perspectives.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring or guiding other engineers.
  • Experience working with global, cross - regional engineering teams.
  • Japanese communication skill to communicate LPDDR engineering in Micron Japan.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$122,000.00 - $302,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
