This person will:

  1. Build the marketing strategy for Auth0 Developers, collaborating with the broader Marketing, Product, and Developer Led Growth teams to execute initiatives to drive customer acquisition.
  2. Act as a bridge between the Marketing teams and the Developer Led Growth (DLG) Self Service team to ensure the Company marketing strategy is aimed at maximizing DLG funnel goals.
  3. Partner with Marketing for nurture campaigns, webinars, social media, and blog posts that tell the story of how Auth0product supports startups, developers and nonprofit organizations.
  4. Champion Developer Experience: Advocate for Auth0’s developer-centric features internally and externally, leading product and feature launches, creating market-validated content.
  5. Stay Informed: Build deep knowledge of the identity landscape, Auth0 solutions, and developer use cases to inform strategy and execution.
  6. Create, roll out, and maintain non-technical content such as web copy and content, demos, videos, workshops, tutorials, blogs, and events to connect Auth0’s capabilities to customer needs.
  7. Develop Messaging & Positioning: Craft and implement clear, concise, and developer-friendly messaging and positioning for Auth0’s solutions, translating complex technical concepts into impactful narratives.
  8. Contribute to the full lifecycle of campaigns, from ideation and development to launch and optimization, including Paid and Digital marketing.

We are looking for someone with:

  1. Experience in communicating directly with developers and working with organizations/platforms that service them
  2. Strong understanding of the unique needs of the developer persona
  3. Proficiency in reporting funnel metrics
  4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to tell compelling stories in an efficient way.
  6. Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  7. Thrive (Push, push, push) to get things done in a complex environment
  8. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams in a fast-moving, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous business environment across time zones
  9. Transparency and comfort working with open communication channels
  10. You have experience launching products, developing messaging and product positioning
  11. Comfort in picking up dropped balls and helping projects get to the finish line
  12. Proven ability to develop and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for technical products

This division is highly collaborative, but demands candidates who want autonomy. We are “a startup within a Unit inside of a publicly traded company” focusing on unique offers and customer audiences.  We run lean and we iterate fast.

Candidates must understand how to collaborate across many established teams, within their own team, and independently ideate the best team and solo projects in enablement. Creativity and resourcefulness are necessary and encouraged.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between:
$147,000$202,000 USD
