About the Role:

Dragos is seeking a Staff Business Operations Project Manager to join our Business Operations & Technology (BOT) team. This role owns day-to-day execution of senior-level operational projects that keep Dragos running — spanning hardware and logistics, lab and infrastructure readiness, procurement and vendor management, and cross-departmental initiatives across IT, Security, Facilities, and Product & Engineering.

The Staff Business Operations Project Manager will work with limited direction, delivering high-complexity projects with meaningful business and financial impact. This individual will maintain comprehensive project plans and forecasts, manage risk across a varied operational portfolio, and give leadership consistent visibility into the status of various initiatives for cross-departmental efforts tied to Dragos’s growth, including possible M&A-related integration work. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Own execution of complex, senior-level operational projects spanning hardware and logistics, infrastructure readiness, procurement, vendor management, internal software migrations, and various strategic initiatives. You must be flexible and willing to work in ambiguity. Must be hands-on and able to drive and own execution, not just provide direction.
  • Aid in project management of global logistics operations, including international shipments, trade compliance, and lifecycle tracking for hardware deployed in the field, minimizing loss and improving asset recovery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and forecasts that reflect milestones and dependencies across the Business Operations portfolio. Must enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary role across Product/Engineer/Operations.
  • Own sprint tracking and Agile ceremonies for active operational workstreams, ensuring consistent cadence and team accountability.
  • Lead issue resolution, change control, and risk mitigation independently, escalating only where cross-organizational alignment is required.
  • Build and maintain financial tracking, budget forecasts, and resource allocation reporting for large-scale operational initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to associate and junior project managers supporting the operations portfolio.
  • Ensure project governance through consistent reporting, metrics, and adherence to PMO standards and policies.
  • Reduce single-point-of-failure risk by distributing execution responsibilities, managing risk, and maintaining clear, current status reporting and stakeholder visibility.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience managing IT or business operations projects in a production enterprise environment, with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Strong proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and retrospective facilitation.
  • Experience managing projects using Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, risk registers, and status reports that drive executive-level visibility.
  • Experience with hardware/asset logistics, PoC or demo equipment lifecycle management, or supply chain operations preferred. International experience is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and business domains without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate operational and financial details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, including supporting integration work tied to company growth or M&A activity.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate dense regulatory and technical requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences. Focuses on solutions and strategy, not why we “can’t” do it.
  • PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology company is a plus; ICS/OT knowledge is nice to have.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $154,000
  • Competitive Equity Package
  • Comprehensive Benefits Plan
