We’re hiring a Staff/ Senior Accountant to join our growing team at Payabli. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close, while also assisting with audits and vendor invoice processing. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in Quickbooks

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis

  • Assist in month-end, and year-end close processes

  • Receive, review and process vendor invoices

  • Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities

  • Complete Ad hoc accounting related requests

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2+ years of accounting experience (private accounting with some public accounting experience preferred)

  • Highly experienced with Excel and Quickbooks online

  • Strong understanding of GAAP

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
