Account Executive - Consultative Sales (Remote)
About the Role
Blacksmith is seeking a consultative Account Executive to drive growth across both project-based engagements and ongoing marketing services. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients across industries, partnering closely with SDRs, strategists, and leadership to win high-value business and expand existing accounts. This role suits a confident communicator who excels in virtual selling, deep discovery, and managing complex, multi-step sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
● Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close.
● Generate new business while growing existing client relationships.
● Lead consultative discovery, solution development, and stakeholder alignment.
● Manage complex deals with multiple decision-makers.
● Partner with SDRs to convert warm leads into opportunities.
● Deliver compelling virtual presentations and proposals.
● Negotiate contracts and support legal/procurement processes.
● Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong client outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
● 6+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive role.
● Proven track record selling high-value solutions through consultative sales.
● Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes.
● Experience managing longer, structured deal cycles.
● Strong executive presence and communication skills.
● Comfortable selling in a primarily remote environment.
● Familiarity with modern sales tools and CRM platforms.
