Our Story

Pointr is the market leader in Indoor Mapping, Location and Analytics, and the inventor of AI-based map production. Its innovative (20+ patents) Pointr Maps™ platform is used by millions of users across offices, retail locations, airports, hospitals, and more every month.

As the top choice of Fortune 100 customers with billions of sqft. deployed globally (30+ countries), Pointr is always on the lookout for great team members to support its fast growth. Our core values are Ownership, Harmony, and Scale, and we look for Passionate, Kind, and No-Ego team members to join the team.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Venue Partnerships Manager to join the Events & Tradeshows team. Pointr is expanding beyond its show-by-show install model into permanent, revenue-share partnerships with the exhibition and convention centers that host its customers' trade shows. This role owns that motion end to end: identifying and closing partnerships with venue operators, then enabling those venues to sell Pointr's platform on to their own incoming shows. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding a category-defining technology platform globally.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle: identify, engage, structure, negotiate, and close revenue-share partnerships with convention centers, exhibition venues, and multi-venue operator groups.

  • Build compelling business cases that demonstrate the value of Pointr's connected venue solutions to venue operators and event stakeholders.

  • Lead commercial discussions, including pricing, contract negotiations, and partnership terms, in collaboration with Finance and Legal.

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for large, multi-stakeholder channel partners, navigating procurement, IT, legal, and executive sponsors within the partner organization.

  • Enable venue partners to independently sell Pointr to their incoming trade shows — building partner collateral, training, and sales enablement materials in partnership with Marketing.

  • Build and deliver concise, executive-ready presentations and business cases.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product, and Account Management to structure deals and ensure successful venue launches.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers across venue organizations.

  • Transition newly launched venues to Account Management with clear growth strategies and success plans.

What We Seek
  • 6–10+ years of experience in complex B2B partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or a related field.

  • Experience selling or partnering within complex SaaS, technology, or platform-based environments.

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and successfully close strategic partnerships or enterprise agreements.

  • Strong understanding of commercial negotiations, pricing models, and contract processes.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate across technical, commercial, and operational teams.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with venues, events, tradeshows, hospitality, real estate, or venue technology.

  • Experience managing enterprise customers or complex implementation projects.

  • Familiarity with CRM, customer success, or project management platforms such as Monday or Jira.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

What We Offer
  • A supportive, kind (no-ego), and smart team

  • International environment and inclusive culture

  • Competitive base salary and attractive stock options

  • Private health care (75%) and Dental

  • Company-sponsored parental leave

  • 18 days PTO, plus sick time + 12 holidays per year

  • 401(k) retirement scheme

Do Not Meet Every Requirement? Apply anyway. We are not looking for perfect resumes. We are looking for the right teammate who is excited to contribute to our mission and grow with us.

Compensation

Base salary range: $130,000–$160,000 + $50,000 on-target bonus, based on experience and market. Total compensation also includes stock options and benefits: medical/dental (75% employer-paid), 401(k), 18 days PTO + sick time + 12 holidays, and paid parental leave.

We Succeed Together

Great outcomes happen when talented, diverse people come together with a shared purpose. We value empathy, humility, and expertise, and we believe the best ideas come from collaboration, thoughtful challenges, and open feedback.

We empower our teams with clear goals and ownership, creating an environment where everyone can contribute, grow, and succeed. We take responsibility for our individual and collective development, celebrate our progress, learn from our experiences, and recognize the impact we create together.

We are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all candidates. If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application or recruiting process, please reach out to your recruiter or contact our team at [email protected].
