About Qompyl

Qompyl is an early-stage, venture-ready technology startup developing an innovative mobile-first platform in the financial technology space. Our mission is to make complex financial tools simple, engaging, and accessible to a global audience. The platform redefines trading by emphasizing a hands-on, visual, and gamified approach to building and testing strategies. Through elegant design and seamless performance, Qompyl empowers users to interact with financial markets in a more intuitive and rewarding way.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced commercial professional to lead and coordinate Qompyl’s strategic partnerships, direct broker relationships, provider ecosystem, and market expansion initiatives.

Qompyl works with and evaluates a broad range of external providers across brokerage services, market data, technology infrastructure, APIs, and other critical services. As we scale, many of these relationships will require custom commercial agreements, technical and operational coordination, ongoing relationship management, and close collaboration across the business.

A significant priority for this role will be developing direct relationships with brokers and brokerage platforms such as Alpaca, Tradier, Webull, tastytrade, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, Public, Schwab, E*TRADE, and other firms identified in Qompyl’s broker integration roadmap.

This role will take ownership of the day-to-day work required to evaluate providers and strategic partners, establish and develop relationships, negotiate favorable and scalable commercial terms, coordinate relevant legal and compliance considerations, and support Qompyl’s future market-entry planning.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment with proven experience in complex negotiations, relationship building, and closing strategic agreements. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant ownership and direct exposure to Qompyl’s leadership team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a structured view of Qompyl’s broker, provider, and strategic partner ecosystem, including current relationships, potential alternatives, integration readiness, and long-term strategic value.

  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with brokers, brokerage platforms, market data providers, API partners, and other strategic partners.

  • Establish direct relationships with priority brokers to evaluate API access, account connectivity, order execution capabilities, user authorization models, market coverage, onboarding requirements, and partnership opportunities.

  • Negotiate pricing, revenue-sharing and referral models, minimum commitments, service-level agreements, support levels, API limits, certification requirements, data rights, termination provisions, and other commercial conditions.

  • Coordinate the commercial process required to move broker relationships from initial evaluation through technical diligence, contracting, integration approval, production readiness, and ongoing relationship management.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brokers, providers, and strategic partners beyond the initial negotiation.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for partnership and provider-related matters, coordinating issue resolution internally and externally.

  • Identify and develop new strategic partnership opportunities that support Qompyl’s product capabilities, distribution, revenue model, customer acquisition, and international growth.

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and company leadership to ensure partnership decisions align with technical, financial, regulatory, operational, and business requirements.

  • Coordinate legal and compliance questions related to contracts, broker integration requirements, user authorization, regulatory responsibilities, financial promotion restrictions, data usage and redistribution rights, and international expansion.

  • Support market-entry planning and partnership readiness for priority markets, including the UK, Japan, the EU, and future regions.

  • Track active relationships, negotiations, integration opportunities, risks, dependencies, next steps, and outcomes, providing regular updates to leadership.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience in strategic partnerships, commercial sales, business development, financial services partnerships, vendor management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, large contracts, API partnerships, or strategic business relationships.

  • Strong commercial judgment and understanding of how partnership terms can affect long-term growth, product capabilities, cost structure, scalability, customer experience, and company value.

  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.

  • Confidence representing a company in external conversations with senior commercial, technical, legal, compliance, and executive stakeholders.

  • Ability to quickly understand Qompyl’s business model, product ecosystem, broker integration strategy, and technical dependencies.

  • Ability to coordinate commercial negotiations that involve technical integration, legal review, compliance analysis, and operational readiness.

  • Highly organized and capable of independently managing multiple partnership and market-expansion workstreams.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a global, fast-moving, early-stage startup environment.

  • Experience in fintech, brokerage, financial services, trading technology, SaaS, technology infrastructure, market data, or API-based platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Existing relationships within the brokerage, trading technology, market data, or fintech ecosystem are a plus.

💡 Please Note - Equity-Only Structure

This is a part-time, equity-only role, suitable as a side engagement alongside a primary job or consulting work.

The position will transition to compensated status after the MVP launch and once funding or sustainable revenue is secured.

If you're excited about joining an early-stage mission-driven startup and helping build a next-generation trading platform, we’d love to hear from you.
