ABOUT CORDIAL

We founded Cordial in 2014 on the belief that there should be more humanity and empathy in marketing—both in how brands communicate with their customers and in how technology companies work with brands. We built our company and platform purposefully, driven by a desire to inspire more thoughtful communication and to create experiences that feel more personal and human—for consumers, for the people at the companies we work with, and for Cordial employees. Today, brands like PacSun, Revolve, Abercrombie & Fitch, Realtor.com, L.L. Bean and Forbes rely on Cordial to drive revenue growth by sending a better message.

We chose the name Cordial to symbolize how we empower our clients to communicate with their customers, as well as how we do business: with transparency, collaboration, and trust. We're building a passionate team of individuals willing to learn, grow, and be thoughtfully challenged on a daily basis to continuously improve our product, company, and culture every single day.

OUR VALUES

  • Communicate better than the rest
  • Own it, every time
  • Solve client problems tenaciously
  • Make Waves

POSITION SUMMARY

We're on the hunt for a dynamic salesperson to join our fast-growing company as we disrupt a legacy industry and go head-to-head with enterprise cloud giants. As a Strategic Sales Director, you’ll play a critical role in driving new business and shaping our continued success. • Lead high-value, consultative sales cycles, consistently closing seven-figure SaaS deals by aligning Cordial’s solutions with the business needs of executive stakeholders.
  • Engage and influence senior leaders (CMOs, CTOs, VPs of Digital/Ecommerce, and Product/Customer Experience Executives) by leveraging deep industry expertise and high EQ.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline, accurately forecasting opportunities across marketing, IT, and leadership functions within enterprise accounts.
  • Leverage marketing and event-generated leads while taking a proactive "hunter" approach to source and close net new ARR.
  • Identify and develop strong champions, navigate complex layered buyer environments, execute technical selling, and master Cordial’s platform to deliver value-driven solutions that differentiate us in the market.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to accelerate deal cycles and ensure seamless client transitions.
  • Consistently exceed revenue targets, executing a disciplined and strategic sales approach.

ABOUT YOU

  • 8+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions with a proven track record of self-sourcing and closing enterprise deals exceeding $1M.
  • Experience in ESP, Personalization, CDP, or adjacent MarTech industries is preferred.
  • Deep network within B2C organizations, engaging executives in digital, eCommerce, marketing, and customer experience roles.
  • Strategic and consultative sales mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and value-driven selling.
  • A technical seller at heart, able to navigate conversations with both marketing and IT stakeholders.
  • Highly disciplined and self-motivated, with a track record of generating opportunities and exceeding quotas.
  • A team-first leader, balancing ambition with humility, and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Driven by curiosity and continuous learning, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and market shifts.
  • Location: Mountain or West Coast
