Key Responsibilities
Category Support & Analysis
- Assist in developing category strategies aligned with procurement and manufacturing objectives
- Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support demand planning and data-driven decision-making
Sourcing & Procurement Execution
- Support sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, and bid evaluations
- Assist in preparing negotiation materials and participate in supplier discussions
- Help execute contracts and maintain procurement documentation
Supplier Coordination
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and track performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost)
- Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and compliance processes
- Assist in resolving supply or delivery issues in coordination with operations
Cost & Performance Tracking
- Track savings initiatives and procurement KPIs
- Maintain accurate data in procurement systems and dashboards
- Support reporting for category performance and supplier scorecards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, finance, engineering, and quality teams to support production needs
- Assist in project-based sourcing activities
- Ensure alignment with plant requirements and procurement policies
- Occasional interaction with suppliers and plant sites.
- Travel required (15%-20%) for supplier engagement and site visits
