You’ll serve as the strategic lead across key eCommerce accounts, guiding cross-functional teams in designing and executing performance-driven marketing campaigns that scale DTC and hybrid retail brands. This role blends strategic vision with tactical insight—leveraging data, technology, and creativity to unlock sustainable revenue growth.
What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership to account teams focused on eCommerce and omnichannel retail clients—aligning initiatives across creative, digital marketing, CRO, and analytics to meet revenue and ROAS goals.
  • Develop commerce-centric marketing strategies across key channels including paid search, paid social, email/SMS, affiliate, SEO, marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, etc), and conversion rate optimization.
  • Craft creative briefs grounded in shopper insights, merchandising priorities, and seasonal trends to inform digital campaigns and promotions.
  • Lead customer journey mapping, segmentation, and persona development to enhance customer experience and maximize LTV.
  • Oversee analytics and performance measurement frameworks including attribution modeling, funnel diagnostics, and customer cohort analysis.

  • Translate KPIs like AOV, CAC, CLTV, CVR, and cart abandonment into actionable strategic recommendations for marketing and UX teams.
  • Design and facilitate data-driven workshops for clients, identifying conversion opportunities and testing hypotheses to drive incremental growth.
  • Lead strategic onboarding for new eCommerce clients, ensuring business objectives and digital infrastructure (e.g. Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, etc.) are aligned from the start.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the agency on eCommerce trends, platform innovations, and evolving consumer behavior.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to evaluate new eCommerce opportunities, audit digital storefronts, and shape go-to-market strategies.
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong emphasis on eCommerce and DTC strategy.
  • Proven ability to grow online revenue and optimize digital marketing performance across the customer journey.
  • Strong grasp of eCommerce metrics, tools, and platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Adept at leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with creatives, media buyers, developers, and data analysts.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills—comfortable turning complex data into compelling insights for clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience developing strategies for B2C and/or hybrid B2B2C brands across a variety of verticals (fashion, beauty, CPG, wellness, etc.).
  • Capable of conducting strategic audits, identifying growth levers, and mapping scalable marketing plans.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to inspire confidence and drive alignment across senior client and internal stakeholders.
  • Passionate about digital commerce innovation and always looking for the next growth edge.
