As a Structured Finance Management Manager within Community Development Banking, you will develop and implement strategies and controls to ensure compliance monitoring and underwriting for both new and existing New Market Tax Credit (NMTC )projects. In this leadership role, you will interface with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment. You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team of NMTC Structured Finance Managers, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture with a focus on high employee engagement and retention.
- Train, develop, and collaborate with the NMTC team to identify risks and implement necessary changes to operating procedures.
- Oversee compliance for the NMTC portfolio, assessing and improving current methods and processes for monitoring NMTC investments.
- Develop and implement business strategies, influencing change through effective relationship management with internal and external partners.
- Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on NMTC compliance, providing consultation to NMTC staff, management, and internal teams.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to management on the NMTC portfolio, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership and vision for the development of NMTC proprietary software.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Proven experience in managing, coaching, and developing a team to achieve organizational goals and enhance team performance.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, time management, interpersonal, relationship management, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in leading challenging discussions and negotiating favorable solutions to compliance issues.
- Ability to track, assess, and prioritize potential risks to the investor's tax credit realization.
- Experience in leveraging technology and data analytics to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Experience in conducting credit underwriting due diligence and reviewing legal agreements.

- Commercial Real Estate credit underwriting experience
