Summer Intern, Quality Engineer

As an intern in the Quality Function, you will be a part of a team ensuring great customer experience. Working on a team that works to resolve issues and proactively prevent issues from occurring (via data analysis and process assessment). You will learn to think outside of the box, implement scalable solutions, and follow best practices.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position. 

What You Will Do:

  • Deepen your understanding of aspects of quality control and quality assurance.

  • Participate in real issue – resolution activities.

  • Work with a team to determine and implement robust solutions.

  • Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Mathematics, Engineering or Technical.

  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.

  • An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about Quality Function and the Allegion business practices.

  • Effective listening, time management, attention to detail and ability to focus on issues to full, confirmed resolution. 

  • A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.  

  • The expected Base Hourly Range: $25-$26.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
