Hourly Pay Range:

$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations coordinates the activity of and provides direct day-to-day supervision of the personnel engaged in the receiving of supplies into the hospitals, the managing of all Supply Chain inventories and par locations, and the distribution of products to various clinical areas. The Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations also assures that supplies are routed in the most efficient way possible and that the appropriate inventory levels are set and maintained across inventory and par locations.  The Healthcare industry is the single largest employer in the United States. Within healthcare, the supply chain function is often considered as critical as the care itself. These days, innovation and ever-evolving clinical practices require a supply chain that is dynamic, customer, focused, and constantly improving. The Supervisor will be heavily involved with elevating current service levels, standardizing processes across the system, and identifying and removing bottlenecks at various levels of the Supply Chain.

What you will do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure individual and team success, while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Executing all inventory related recalls and conversions, monitoring various distributor reports to anticipate and respond to needs, helping to resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring adequate stock on hand.
  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of par management, ensuring efficient operations in alignment with departmental goals and standards
  • Adhere to performance benchmarks and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of team performance. Ensure that team members have the tools necessary for success.
  • Facilitate change management efforts by providing training, guidance, and support to stakeholders impacted by process improvements.
  • Stay on top of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in healthcare supply chain management. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as FDA guidelines for medical device distribution, OSHA standards, and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions or shortages
  • Ensures incoming shipments of supplies/equipment from vendors are unloaded, received, and distributed according to established departmental and safety standards
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless adoption, integration and implementation of various IT systems such as Workday, Nicelabel, and Insysiv
  • Effectively involve departments to ensure buy-in and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement specialists, warehouse team members, logistics representatives, and healthcare providers, to responds to and solve customer inquiries.

What you will need:

  • Education: High school Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Certification: A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an offsite location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Healthcare Supply Chain Operations

Physical Requirements: Medium work (exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently and or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects)
