Supplier Quality Engineer II

  • Estimated annual base pay: $75,000.00 (minimum) - $97,000.00 (midpoint) - $120,000.00 (maximum)
  • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments of supplier quality metrics to ensure adherence to established standards and contractual requirements.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify and analyze complex quality issues, determining root causes and developing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead small scale improvement projects focused on enhancing supplier processes and product quality through the implementation of best practices.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to align supplier quality objectives with overall business goals.
  • Quality Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive quality reports and documentation to track supplier performance and support informed decision making.

  • Quality Management: Proficient in implementing and maintaining quality management systems to ensure supplier compliance and product standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Skilled in identifying and analyzing root causes of quality issues to develop effective corrective actions.
  • Statistical Analysis: Expertise in utilizing statistical tools and methodologies for quality data analysis and process optimization.
  • Supplier Assessment: Experienced in evaluating and auditing suppliers to ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
  • Project Management: Capable of managing quality improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Process Improvement: Adept at identifying and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and product quality.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent in conveying complex quality information clearly and building consensus among cross functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to develop innovative solutions to complex quality challenges based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledgeable in industry regulations and standards to ensure supplier and product compliance.
  • Leadership: Able to guide and mentor less experienced colleagues and lead small scale projects with minimal oversight.
