Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Domain Architect is the senior architecture leader accountable for translating Supply Chain strategy into coherent, executable technology outcomes that deliver in-year cost savings, enable year-on-year simplification, and establish a resilient target-state architecture across planning, manufacturing, quality, logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment.

·       Measurable in-year and recurring cost savings across the Supply Chain portfolio

·       Reduced architectural complexity, technical debt, and redundant capabilities

·       Clear current-to-target state roadmaps for Supply Chain platforms and value streams

·       Increased reuse of enterprise-standard platforms and reduced point solutions

·       Improved decision quality and speed for Supply Chain investments

Core Responsibilities
Strategy Realization

·       Partner with Supply Chain and Enterprise Architecture leadership to translate strategy into target operating models and capability roadmaps

·       Lead target-state architecture across Supply Chain capabilities and platforms

·       Deliver sequenced roadmaps that produce measurable savings and simplification

·       Surface cross-portfolio risks and dependencies early

Solution Architecture Leadership

·       Provide architecture leadership for major Supply Chain initiatives

·       Guide solution design across SAP, JD Edwards, Maximo, POMSnet, Camstar, DC Link, warehouse, manufacturing, and fulfillment platforms

·       Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and security requirements

Portfolio Simplification and Cost Optimization

·       Identify consolidation, modernization, and retirement opportunities

·       Partner with Finance to quantify savings and value realization

·       Promote patterns that reduce run cost and increase scalability

Governance and Decision Enablement

·       Represent Supply Chain architecture in enterprise governance forums

·       Ensure enterprise platforms are used first before introducing new technologies

·       Enable consistent architectural decisions without slowing delivery

Executive Relationships

The Supply Chain Domain Architect serves as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain leadership, IT delivery and platform leaders, and Enterprise Architecture governance bodies.

Qualifications and Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience

·       10+ years in solution or enterprise architecture roles

·       Deep experience with ERP, MES, quality, asset, logistics, and fulfillment systems

·       Proven record driving simplification and cost optimization
