Job Overview

RectorSeal is seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead its domestic buyout procurement function. This role is responsible for managing a team of buyers who procure finished goods from external suppliers domestically, ensuring consistent product availability while optimizing cost, inventory, and supplier performance. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with hands-on execution and brings a disciplined approach to inventory visibility, operational reporting, and vendor strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of buyers responsible for sourcing finished goods
  • Own and deliver reporting on inventory levels, outages, risks, and supply changes
  • Ensure product availability through proactive risk identification and mitigation
  • Drive cost competitiveness through negotiations and cost reduction initiatives
  • Establish long-term supplier alignment and strategic vendor relationships
  • Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Product Development, and Operations
  • Continuously improve purchasing processes, systems, and reporting
  • Oversee the MRO purchasing for US operations

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing procurement teams
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory metrics
  • Proven success in vendor negotiations and cost management
  • Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and advanced Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Must reside full-time in the continental US

Compensation: 

RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing salary ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Based on your experience and market position, you are paid within the salary range.  Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
