What you will do

The Supply Chain Planner will manage various processes to ensure high levels of customer service. There are four key areas of responsibility that a Supply Chain Planner may be performing in this role at any given time, with increasing scope of volumes: Shipment Management, Reporting/Analytics, SAP master data and change control management.  This portfolio can include the following types of materials: finished goods, work in process (WIP) bulk, raw materials (including API), and packaging components. You will also collaborate closely with all levels of management and will be actively mitigating and resolving customer service issues, managing inventory levels, and the deployment of finished goods according to customer demands and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various Supply Chain analysis reports by collecting; analyzing; and summarizing information and trends. 
  • Analysis and evaluation of inventory health including comparison against targets and monitoring of slow-moving inventory.
  • Load planning: Plan, optimize, and expedite shipment loads taking into consideration transportation constraints and prioritization of products.  Responsible to ensure timely and accurate communication of shipments and status details. 
  • Lead master data setup in SAP/APO including, but not limited to, the following master data elements: material/product masters and BOM’s. Ensure data accuracy for planning values, shutdown, changeover, project work for those sites where McNeil RCCP planning tools are utilized.
  • Map out processes, drives operational efficiencies and document supply chain processes.
  • Manage the GMP change control actions and deliverables needed during batch record revisions, labeling updates, new product launches, and other product or process updates.  

What we are Looking for

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; focused degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering, is preferred and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.   
  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional business experience is required, preferably in one or more of the following areas: Production Planning, Supply Chain Systems, Purchasing, Distribution, Manufacturing, and/or Transportation.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Excel (v-Lookups, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong SAP system knowledge
  • Robust analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Experience with Kinaxis.
  • Six Sigma or APICS certification.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and lateral thinking to problem solve/troubleshoot.
  • Experience demonstrating strong cross-functional business insight and ability to influence.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$72,675.00 - $102,600.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
