About the role

 

Support Supply Chain Operations with Supply Planning activities by analyzing stock projections and collaborating with the Dyson Global Planning team on production needs.  This includes ensuring target inventory KPI’s are met.

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Support the Supply Planning process for consumer and commercial businesses. 

  • Liaise with the Global Manufacturing Team and Logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product.

  • Partner with Demand Planning to maintain healthy inventory levels that support a 12-month rolling demand plan to achieve corporate stock objectives.

  • Assist local Marketing and Sales teams with planning for new product launches and exclusive skus.

  • Communicate with Global Planning team on a regular basis to ensure production plans meet demand plan.

  • Update and publish weekly/monthly reports for broader team.

  • Analyze domestic supply chain product flow movements and manage business requests.

  • Report monthly inventory projections by sku to monitor investment in working capital.

  • Drive profitability by minimizing product obsolescence.

  • Ensure inventory orders meet customer requirements.

  • Divert containers, team trucking, and warehouse stock transfers.

  • Manage the allocation process for items with capacity constraints, including maintaining reporting which is key input to this process

  • Identify and communicate potential capacity constraints to necessary parties. 

  • Develop and recommend improvements to current operating procedures

About you 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, logistics, engineering, or related field.

  • 1+ year of experience in supply chain within consumer goods organization.

  • Ability to start as soon as possible following offer acceptance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • SAP planning experience.

  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain concepts.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Strong ability to multi-task and be adaptable.

      Salary : $61,600 - $69,300 annually plus bonus opportunity
