About the Role

Reporting directly to the CRO, the SVP of Sales is responsible for driving company-wide revenue growth and leading a multi-layered sales organization. This role oversees a team of Vice Presidents of Sales, who in turn manage teams of 6–7 sellers each. The SVP will set the overarching sales strategy, ensure consistent execution across regions, and scale a high-performing organization. This leader will also play a critical role in executive-level client relationships, cross-functional alignment, and long-term growth planning.

Your daily impact as an SVP, Sales

  • Lead and develop a team of VP-level sales leaders, scaling a high-performing, multi-layered organization 
  • Own and deliver against company-wide revenue targets, including strategy, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy
  • Define and execute national and regional sales strategies to drive growth, market expansion, and new revenue opportunities
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability across all levels of the sales organization
  • Drive operational excellence across forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and sales processes
  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships while supporting strategic deals and market-facing initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Data, and Customer Success to align go-to-market strategy and drive full lifecycle growth

Experience and Expertise

  • 12–15+ years of experience in digital/media/ad tech sales
  • 5+ years managing leaders (VP-level or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of scaling and leading multi-layered sales organizations
  • Experience managing VPs overseeing teams of 6–7 sellers
  • Strong relationships with agencies and client-direct partners
  • Consistent history of exceeding revenue targets in high-growth environments
  • Executive leadership and strategic thinking
  • Strong forecasting, analytics, and operational discipline
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coach and develop leaders at multiple levels
  • Results-driven with a focus on accountability and performance
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in CRM systems, G-Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills

    For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington and Massachusetts, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $200,000 -$240,000.

    Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Base salary is just one component of InMarket’s total rewards package that also may include bonus, equity, and benefits.  Ask your recruiter for more information!
