Design and develop enterprise Tableau BI reports and high-performance data models. Optimize dashboards and workbooks, implement report security and access, create data extracts and pass-through queries, collaborate with BI leads, DBAs and ETL teams, and provide support to ensure report availability and performance.

Requirements
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Analyze and understand reporting requirements of various business streams
- Develop BI reports using best practices and adhere to best performance standards
- Setup report security and user access to relevant contents
- Develop BI data model for high performance and flexibility
- Develop data extracts and pass-thru queries for reporting needs
- Analyze the dimensional data model for reporting suitability and suggest changes if needed
- Collaborate with the BI Lead, DBA and ETL teams as required
- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5+ years of data-centric design and development experience with primary focus on BI, reporting, and analytics solution development
- 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing enterprise-wide reporting solutions with Tableau business intelligence software suite
- Experience in performance optimization of complex workbooks, visualizations and dashboards using large datasets
- Experience with Linux/ command line and git
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, data systems and data warehouses
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, various data management systems
- Scripting knowledge using Shell scripting, Python, or equivalent
- Experience working with Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understand data models and their relationship to reporting
- Ability to interact with business users to identify reporting and data analysis needs
- Understanding of financial markets for derivatives and derivatives instruments
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) in Waterfall, Lean, and Agile work environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
