Why Brillient?
Brillient is an award-winning digital transformation company helping government agencies move from analog processes to modern, data-driven solutions across Defense, Space, Intelligence, and Civilian missions.

Our work is guided by four core values: Value, Integrity, Flexibility, and Innovation, and supported by a genuine commitment to sustainability and community impact.

Brillient’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking a driven, people-focused recruiter ready to build a career in government contracting recruiting. As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you'll manage full-cycle recruiting for positions supporting Brillient's federal programs and organizational hiring needs, mentored by a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter and TA Manager as you grow toward independently owning your own requisitions. You'll partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, source and screen candidates, and guide the hiring process from initial outreach through onboarding.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer support, under the guidance of the Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter and TA Manager.
  • Recruit for positions supporting federal client programs and organizational hiring needs, including staffing tied to proposals, new business pursuits, contract transitions, and program start-ups.
  • Source candidates through active and passive channels, applying sourcing strategies developed with the Senior Recruiter or Manager.
  • Conduct phone screens and structured interviews, and schedule and coordinate your own candidate interviews.
  • Support offer discussions and negotiations, helping close candidates alongside the Senior Recruiter or Manager.
  • Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requisition needs and provide pipeline updates.
  • Partner with the TA Senior Operations Specialist for a smooth handoff from offer acceptance through the new hire's first day.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including statuses, feedback, interview stages, and disposition information.
  • Develop an understanding of federal hiring environments and how security clearance requirements shape sourcing and screening.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Candidates must be based in the Kansas City MO region, as the role requires intermittent support at local hiring events.
