POSITION OVERVIEW

The Talent Acquisition Specialist – AI & Data Center Recruiting is a strategic, full-cycle recruiter responsible for hiring critical technical and leadership talent supporting data center development, AI infrastructure, and hyperscale operations.

This individual will bring direct experience recruiting within Hyperscaler or large-scale data center environments, with deep understanding of the talent landscape across:

  • Data center development & construction
  • AI / HPC infrastructure
  • Hyperscale operations
  • Mission-critical facilities

You will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Director, Hiring Managers, and business stakeholders to build high-impact teams that support rapid growth in a highly competitive talent market.

The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management.  All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

This role reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition, or another senior leader as designated.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Full-Cycle Recruiting (Technical & Leadership Hiring)

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for complex, high-priority roles across:
    • Data center development (site selection, design, construction)
    • AI infrastructure
    • Data center operations (critical facilities, reliability engineering)
    • Commercial, strategy, and leadership roles
  • Drive strong candidate pipelines in highly competitive, niche markets

 

Hyperscaler Talent Market Expertise

  • Leverage deep knowledge of Hyperscaler talent ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta)
  • Build targeted sourcing strategies for:
    • Data center project managers, construction managers, and engineers
    • Electrical, mechanical, and commissioning experts
    • AI infrastructure engineers and specialists
  • Map competitor talent and execute strategic outreach campaigns

 

Stakeholder & Hiring Leader Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor on hiring strategy, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks
  • Influence hiring decisions through market insights and data-driven recommendations
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and hiring prioritization

 

Sourcing Strategy & Pipeline Development

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies leveraging:
    • Direct sourcing (LinkedIn, referrals, industry networks)
    • Passive candidate engagement
    • Industry events and talent communities
  • Build and maintain pipeline depth for future hiring needs, especially for hard-to-fill roles

 

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding

  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience aligned with Hyperscaler-level expectations
  • Position the company as a top destination for AI and data center talent
  • Ensure strong communication and engagement across all candidate touchpoints

 

Data & Recruiting Performance

  • Track and manage key recruiting metrics:
    • Time-to-fill
    • Offer acceptance rate
    • Pipeline conversion rates
  • Use data to optimize recruiting strategies and hiring outcomes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong emphasis on:
    • Data center infrastructure
    • AI environments
    • Hyperscaler or large-scale technology environments
  • Proven success hiring in highly competitive, niche talent markets
  • Prior experience at a Hyperscaler (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta) or large data center developer/operator
  • Experience supporting greenfield data center development projects
  • Knowledge of renewable energy + data center convergence
  • Exposure to AI infrastructure buildouts (GPU clusters, advanced computing environments)
  • Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, and mission-critical roles
  • Proficiency in ATS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Experience supporting fast-scaling, high-growth organizations

  • Deep understanding of data center and AI infrastructure talent markets
  • Strong full-cycle recruiting capabilities across technical and business roles
  • Advanced sourcing and talent mapping skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives

  • High level of ownership, urgency, and accountability
  • Excellent communication and candidate engagement skills

COMPENSATION: $120,000 - $140,000 salary
